Yummy Good!
Went there for lunch with a friend today. Had the Cajun Pasta and it was delicious! Portion was perfect size and priced right. My friend order crab cakes and they were also delicious. The service was stellar as well. Plenty of parking. I'll be back!

Rockfish is one of those restaurants that once you try it that first time it makes it all too easy to return. A casual seafood neighborhood restaurant with an uncomplicated menu, offering fresh food at a good price – what’s not to like?. The first Rockfish opened in Plano, Texas in 1998 by husband and wife team of Randy and Michele Dewitt. By offering a combination of fly-fishing theme, paired with a casual seafood menu, and reasonably priced food, Rockfish now has 12 Texas restaurants, 2 of which are in Houston.
Surprisingly good for a chain seafood restaurant. The fish and chips were delicious- not overwhelmed with batter, crisp on the outside and flaky inside. Jalapeño hush puppies were surprisingly good. Very good service.
Fish season. The reason to go is for fish tacos!
Good Chain-like Place. Although Rockfish is a kind of "In-all-our-the-places-you-are-going-to-get-the-same-taste", the Westheimer spot seems to be the better. People are nice and the food is very good. The other day we waited a lot during a lunch, much more than usual. The chef approached to our table and offer some extra food at no cost, to compensate the time that we lost there. A kind of gesture that make the costumer return, I really liked.
Great little seafood place.. This place is pretty rockin. This place is an affordable and tasty little seafood bistro. The food here is exceptional, especially there soups. I would recommend trying the Creamy Jalapeno Bisque, it is excellent. The menu contains all sorts of seafood dishes including things such as fish tacos and seafood enchilades, as well as the standard seafood dishes. I personally think that they have just about the best fish tacos that I have ever had and they come with an excellent ancho chile sauce. The service is always attentive, and pretty fast. I enjoy the decor here as its sort of an abtract take on retro theme. Its not a place for a late dinner as they close relatively early.

This was my first visit to Rockfish Seafood and Grill and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a drink called the Raspberry Romance, if you are not a wine drinker and prefer more fruity flavors, this is a perfect choice for you. The first thing I was curious to try was the crab cake because I have been on a mission to find the best crab cakes in Houston. I have to say the crab cakes here were pretty good. They were not overly greasy nor were they overly breaded, they had just enough flavor to keep the natural flavor of the crab as the focus. While this crab cake is not the best that I've had it's definitely one that I will have again. I also had the steamed snow crab legs with corn and potatoes which I thoroughly enjoyed, it was savory, buttery and a whole lot of succulent goodness.
Finally I closed my meal with slice of bread pudding with bourbon sauce, the perfect ending to a great meal. This was a Valentine's worth remembering with excellent service and speedy delivery of your meal from kitchen to table. 😍😋🤗
First time here and it was fantastic. Quickly greeted and the manager was checking in on us, as this was my mom and I's first time. Moses was our waiter and he was great. Always checked on us and displayed excellent customer service! The manager gave us a coupon for a free appetizer/dessert next time and believe me, we will be back. Great service, nice view and superb food 👌❤
Our party of five was immediately seated on arrival, and service was also great. The wild west margarita was quite unique and had tequila with watermelon and cucumber vodka and a jalapeno slice for that extra spicy kick. The day at the lake margarita tasted tropical and was rather sweet. I enjoyed my shrimp and grits entree which had some andouille sausage pieces as well. The grilled shrimps were delicious.
You can't go wrong with anything in this menu. The Bomb balls are so good! And you must have a drink while your there if you dont drink alcohol they have good sweet tea.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Fast service. Great food. 4 of us ate there. Depending on what fish you get depends on price on build your own plate.
The service here is awesome. It was my first time here. I drive by all the time. The gumbo, crabcakes and hush puppies were absolutely delicious. The main entree, the blackened Atlantic Salmon (pictured) was a bit bland. The cream corn was very good! Get it! The mule was ok but they aren't known for their cocktails. They seem to be observing social distancing protocol. I'll probably give it another try.
This was me and my husbands first time here and it was great ! The food was amazing and plentiful. We got so full we had to take the bread pudding home !
The pork tacos were amazing! I had a very friendly helpful server, and I thought it was reasonably priced. There were a decent amount of servers just standing around and it took slightly longer for my blueberry margarita to come out (it was a flight) and I happened to watch him make the margarita in a few minutes. So it could have been done earlier when I was sitting there waiting. But it was not a negative experience
Great place to eat, went on a Tuesday evening. They often do get busy but the staff is very friendly. I've tried different meals but will update later with pics. My favorite and go to would have to be the seafood enchiladas, they are fantastic. The oysters are fresh and very plump. They are shucked and cleaned properly. The few times I have been here they haven't disappointed
Rockfish Seafood Grill is a keeper! Their meals are flavorful without being salty. They have specials like “Shrimp Boil” or other seafood deals. And they have “Lunch Specials” daily. Servers are friendly and thorough. The dining area is huge and comfortable although a bit dated. The menu is nice and offers many items to choose from. Their excellent Clam Chowder soup is available daily. There's free WiFi that keeps you connected while you dine. There's ample parking around the restaurant. One of my favorites is the Tilapia meal at lunch that is very good; they change the presentation every so often, so it’s like getting a fun new dish. The appetizers are delicious (tried the calamari and the crab cakes). My companions enjoyed their grilled salmon, and the BBQ ribs & shrimps. Even the burger is good! For dessert, their Creme Brûlée is amazingly scrumptious and has fresh blueberries in it (or raspberries, depending on the season). They cook differently, but wonderfully.
The restaurant is a great place to take a lunch break from work. If you enjoy a nice old school atmosphere restaurant then this is the palce. The seafood they serve is delicious and the waiters are polite to the customers. I had the BBQ ribs and shrimp combo which to me was delicious. The ribs were cooked to the point they fell off the bone and the shrimp were fried perfectly and instead of the slaw I replaced it with green beans that too was delicious. So if your looking for some seafood on the Westside of Weshtimere Rd, then this is the place.
Service was great. Had the crab bowl with crab leg,shrimp and mussels. Don't like mussels. He suggested I substitute for extra shrimp or crab legs. Fantastic no place has ever that I know of let you substitute to a crab legs and no extra charge. Fantastic. Food was good. Our waiter was excellent 👏
Excellent customer service. Shelly was tip top notch. The garlic butter shrimp were finger licking good.
I always order DoorDash with them. Super good and nutritious. Great service and food! Tried something new and it was great! Clam soup is my favorite!
