Ordered some dinner there, paid $41 for a Duck Red Curry, a Sweet Sour Pork, and 4 vegetable spring rolls. Food tastes delicious, especially the Duck curry. It was not too spicy.
Yesterday I ordered Chicken Cashew Nut there too and it was great.
Food was so delicious. The cheese rolls were amazing, probably my favorite item on the menu. The egg drop soup was good, not my favorite but decent. I had the garlic and pepper lover dish with shrimp and it was delicious but spicy and I only asked for mild spicy. The sa-te chicken was very tasty. Probably won’t return since it’s out of the way and a little pricey for lunch, but everything was tasty and the service was friendly.
This place was a buzz today! That was my first inkling lunch was going to be good.
First the beverages... My sweet tea was AMAZING! It had a underlying taste I couldn't identify, but I loved it!
We had the steamed dumplings to start. Very good and fresh; not chewy like some I have had in the past.
Our egg drop soup and spring roll arrived next. Wasn't crazy about the egg drop. They put bits of chicken in theirs and it wasn't very hot. I can do without the chicken. I felt it gave a strange texture. I was hoping for more of the typical thick egg texture. The spring roll was a little too well done and they only give a tiny amount of sauce drizzled over it. I had to request more sauce, during a busy lunch rush, which caused me to wait longer than I wanted to eat my roll.
For our entrees, we shared the Chili Basil and the Red Curry plates. Very good and filling. Both had a red pepper to indicate spicy, but the Chili Basil wasn't very spicy; the Red Curry was on point.
All in all, the lunch was good. It was very busy, so the service was a little slow and could have used a tad more friendliness. My tea was not filled until requested and we had to wait awhile for our check to come after requested. I will go back. They have a full menu of items I'd like to try. The Pad Thai looked good.
$35.00 (without tip) for 2 to dine.
Greeted & seated promptly. Server was very pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere is pretty plain; the chairs flex really easily...caught me off-guard.
I had the Pad See Ew. It was fantastic! Very flavorful and lots of surprise pops of flavor and spice. Really really good.
I have been to the Sugar Land location countless times, but this was my first time coming to this location. My friend and I came on a weeknight about an hour before closing. We were the only ones there, which was quite nice. The decor and lighting is beautiful, and we had good service as well. We ordered red curry as well as the chili basil with chicken. Both were delicious and we got them at spice level 2, which was perfect! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Loved this place! Me and my husband stumbled upon this place by luck, and were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is lovely and they’ve kept the place very clean!
We found the quality of food to be really good. And the best part is they have vegetarian choices, so I’d definitely recommend any fellow vegetarians to visit :)
Restaurant week was soooo delicious. I see why they won the award. Some of the best Thai food I had in Houston. The portions is what caught me off guard. Gave me plenty of food unlike a fee Thai restaurants that I've been to. I will definitely be coming back for more. Thanks for the great service.
We arrived at about 11:15 am on a Friday just after they reopened. I will say the first thing I notice is nobody is there to greet you and you're trying to figure out what to do but in the end somebody came up and met us and took us to a seat. We asked for two waters with no lemon and the waters showed up not only with no lemon but with no ice as well :) with a quick remedy of another cup of ice we placed our order which seems simple enough. Space level 2 was actually quite hot so we didn't know what level 4 or 5 would be like. We generally like spicy things but perhaps their spice meter was off for the day. Pictured is the garlic and the pepper lover. For $7.50 plus tax, I received a bowl of some amazing chicken soup, an egg roll, about 2 lb of rice and pork with vegetables mixed with the garlic pepper sauce. It was delicious and I would consider this a bargain. Considering how fast people were showing up and the restaurant was at capacity by the time we left it was amazing how fast they were able to turn around their dishes. We will be back often not only for the quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff, but because of the value.
Food was absolutely delicious. Ambience was exceptional and wait staff were wonderful! I enjoyed every morsel of my meal.
My favorite Thai food for 20+ years. Starting off with a salad with peanut dressing yummy. Next, wings of paradise, amazing! Then cashew chicken medium spicy with a side of their sweet and sour sauce...just makes my taste buds sing with happiness. Lovely staff and great service.
I adore this place, I’ve been coming here since I was single digits in age. I go for every birthday and big event! Everyone is always very nice, the food is always perfect! Literally cannot think of a single time we got something that wasn’t perfectly made. Love the Thai tea here, it’s so good that when I try to order it somewhere else, I don’t like it. Also do yourself a favor and order the sticky rice with ice cream or mango, soooo good!
Totally recommend all the dishes, I made a point to come here when I’m back from college! I literally dream of this place and have a hard time finding anything that’s even remotely as yummy as this restaurant!
Red Curry with Beef, Garlic and pepper lover with chicken both were delicious and the crispy vegetable rolls are awesome!
I enjoyed this place much more than I even expected. I've been to Thailand and this seems to stay pretty authentic while slightly catering to the American pallet. My basil eggplant tofu was really good. Medium spice level was well done and on point. My grandmom had cashew chicken and asked for it over noodles instead of rice. It also had great flavor, and I don't usually like that dish much. Total for dinner with one tea and tip was $42, which I think is fair for the quality and ambience, which was clean but cozy. Server was also very attentive. I would go back.
Perfect Chicken wings!!! The food was really good!! We had the: Wings of Paradise
Chicken Crispy Rolls
Papaya salad (Son Tum)
Combo Fried rice
The combo fried rice was good I wish it was a tad bit darker other than that the food was great!!! The restaurant was really cute and really clean. The services was wonderful!!!
Very clean quite place. This is yellow curry so delicious made with coconut, custom by adding more vegetables. Also the soft egg rolls with avocado and mint 😋 super delicious! One of my favorite dishes in town.
Had lunch here with my wife. Not too crowded. Food came really fast, and tasted delicious. Service was attentive. Would come back again
Hands down the best shrimp pad thai I've had in Houston... It was moist, juicy, and flavorful. The flavor was exactly what I was looking for: Thai-flavored lol. And the fried chicken wings (Wings of Paradise)....OMG so GOODT! I was a bit skeptical because I'm not fond of basil, BUT those wings were wonderful, even with the basil! Give this place a try, it'll be worth your while👍🏼👍🏼
