EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!!
We had breakfast for our late lunch (1/25/19). My "Lumberjack Breakfast" hit the spot!! The food was very tasty and "Alma" was a very attentive and friendly server! THANKS Alma....GREAT JOB!! Your service made the food even better!!
***This was my first time here but I will be back!!! Oh...and my wife's pancakes were also tastey!!***
Great breakfast choices. Service is good. I really like the granola and almond pancake.
Very nice old style diner restaurant in Rice Village. Inexpensive. Very polite and friendly staff. Great breakfasts.
Food is well cooked. The place is very nice and comfortable.
We're visiting from out of town, so I did a quick Google search for the best breakfast places near me. This restaurant popped up and I'm so glad we made the trip! We came on a Sunday afternoon (around noon) and didn't have to wait long (less than 5 minutes).
Our server was fast and courteous. We told her we'd be splitting one of the omelettes and she portioned out the meal on 2 separate plates for us. How thoughtful!
The food was amazing. The omelette was great, the potatoes were well seasoned, and the waffle was excellent. It had just the right amount of crisp. Best waffle I've had in a long time. Also, the coffee was nice and strong. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the Houston area!
Great place for brunch. Menu is loaded with traditional and healthier options.. of course I usually order the same thing because they do it so well.. Chicken and Waffle 😋
Great place for better than normal breakfast at a reasonable price. Pecan coffee is excellent!
We visit this location almost every Sunday. They offer your traditional breakfast options for a great price and portion. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is clean. My husband enjoys the wheat banana pecan pancakes and the granola almond pancakes. I've tried them too and they are very tasty. If you are looking for a good, reasonably priced breakfast location, I would definitely consider Le Peep.
This has been my favorite breakfast place for over twenty years.
Fresh and clean, nice relaxed atmosphere.
The coffee is great, and there are plenty of menu choices, always nicely done.
In all those years, I've never been disappointed...Often introducing it friends who have themselves, become Le Peep fans.
Great tasting food. Been eating at La Peep for the past 5 years. Awesome portion sizes. Clean and it’s nice to have a pitcher of water available standard on the table. The biscuits and gravy is one of my favorites.
We are a breakfast family and Le Peep has long been a favorite. This location has a great feel and really friendly staff. My only complaint would be the cramped table tops when seating 4 to a table. There was no room for extra coffee mugs or plates. Other than that everything is fantastic as usual.
I came here for a meeting on a Friday morning, and I ordered the blueberry pancakes. Omg... this was the best decision ever! The pancake was moist, and the blueberries are in the batter not on top of the pancakes. The waiter was friendly, and we received our food quickly. The coffee was pretty good too. :-) Whenever I am in the mood for another blueberry pancake, I will come to this Le Peep location.
One of my favorite places. Server was a little inattentive but food was Awesome!!

Straight-up traditional breakfast place -- wish there were more like it. Waiter/waitress may be hit or miss, but the menu and food quality are great, place is clean, people are friendly. Keep up the good work! Only issue: good enough to always be busy.
Always enjoy this restaurant. I had a waffle with poached eggs and bacon. Waffle was first class and eggs were done to my order. Bacon was crispy. Even though restaurant was crowded, service was good and good came out quickly.
The Texas sized cinnamon rolls have changed my life 💕

Came here for breakfast and enjoyed it... I'm a sucker for the hot chocolate at these sorts of places, though. The food took longer than I expected to come out, but I enjoyed it anyway. One oddity: they have "basted eggs." I hadn't heard of these, they're flat like fried eggs but cooked in water like a poached egg. I decided to try it - not my favorite preparation, I recommend poached or fried instead. The banana pecan pancakes were good, but I thought could use more banana (pretty good amount of pecan though).
