The first time I went was with my team at work for our Christmas Luncheon. There was a total of 9 of us, and we made the reservation over Yelp. When I got there, they had our table ready and our servers were very helpful at explaining the menu items. The lunch serving came with soup, salad, and rice at a very reasonable price! The food and meat was so good that I decided to take my own family this week. LOL The experience was even better this time! I say this, because I didn't eat all my food this time (I had leftovers) and I had saved room enough for dessert. Lol The Fried cheesecake and s'mores were excellent! The service was even better! We will definitely be back! ��
Really enjoy this place. They give you alot of food for your money. Ask for Victor or Dylan as your server. They both are amazing! BTW it's not expensive at all.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The service was awesome as always! We got seated immediately and the food was very tasty. We even had to order another dish at the end for my growing teenager, he loved it! You can't go wrong taking your family and friends to this place!
I love the Happy Hour and our server was attentive. The food drinks and drinks were awesome and worth the money (especially the happy hour prices). Wil definitely come back!

I had mentioned to my best friend that I wanted to go to a restaurant where you cook your own food and she listened! She made reservations for my birthday. Her daughters and I visited on a Monday around noon. There was nobody at the entrance greeting you, but after a few minutes a friendly face appeared and sat us in a booth. The restaurant is a bit on the darker side and I am curious as to who was in control of the Aux cable because some of the songs were questionable...R. Kelly signing about bumping and grinding while you're grilling your meat? Lol. There were several people having lunch, but that didn't slow down the service. It was my first time, but luckily my best friend had visited before, so she was the expert. I let her order for us so I am not sure which meal she ordered, but it was more than enough! Some of the meats we ate were New York Steak Garlic, Premium Sirloin Tare, Angus Beef Rib Tare, Filet Mignon, Umakara Ribeye, Pork Belly Shio, and Chicken Breast Basil. We had garlic mushrooms, white rice, corn, vegetable spring rolls (fried), miso soup, spicy cucumber, gyu-sushi, shishito peppers, calamari, gyu-kaku salad, sukiyaki fried rice and s'mores! The meats are marinated, but there are sauces available on the table for you to add for extra flavor. The food is constantly coming out so it can get a little overwhelming. Your server does explain the cook times for the meats, but to be honest, by the time you start cooking you forget what they said about the next meat, so use your common sense when cooking! I really like that the grill is changed throughout your cooking experience. Everything was delicious and there are other items on the menu that we look forward to trying. Couples date night coming soon!

Edit after 2nd visit: Okay, they really need to do something about the a/c, fix the soda machine, and clean the sticky floor. The food was great and our server was working hard, but this place needs an overhaul.
They were having trouble with their a/c the day we went, but the service and food were still amazing. The meats and veggies were fresh and flavorful! Will definitely return.

We went for the first time a few weeks ago and then went again a week later. At first, I wasn't too excited about cooking my own food, but it was more fun than I expected. Also, it doesn't take very long as they cut the meat in small portions. We got one of the all you can eat tiers. You get 90 minutes to eat what you want from that selection. I believe they have 3 different tiers or you can also order a la cart. Plus, they have some smaller bundles. We really enjoyed trying different cuts of meats with different marinades and dipping sauces. They have beef, pork and seafood selections. The gas grill you use is in the center of your table. Depending on how high you set it and how many other customers are actively grilling, it can get a little warm inside. I will reiterate that we were actively cooking for at least an hour, so that could have contributed to that. We joined their rewards program and will definitely go again. We paid about $42 per person for the all you could eat option, which also comes with dessert.
Everything was good, just the tables and the place felt a bit too tight. Chicken looked dry but it was actually moist inside
We had an issue with the location in midtown and decided to come here, and we were so glad we did. We were greeted by a receptionist who was kind and friendly. Our waitress was awesome she kept checking on us and explained many things we had questions about. The food was delicious and everything came out in a timely manner so no long waiting which was great! Great food and service!! We will be back here!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place and oh am I glad we did! It is our 7th year anniversary and this place was just what we needed. Ruth Chris is usually our go to beef fix for special occasions but today we switched it up. Every was delightful, we can't wait to return ! Every time we come it doesn't disappoint!
Food is always great! Toro Beef is my favorite, but anything you order is pretty good 👍 Service is always nice too, just be patient, especially if it's packed.
Good all u can eat BBQ ($42 was the cheapest) . Good variety of meats, sides, and ice cream.

The first time I came here I was greeted with an amazing customer service. The food is also amazing, the time usually spent for eating the all you can is 90min. The ambiance is also amazing, 100% recommend!
I loved the busy atmosphere and wonderful food. The staff were all very friendly and so welcoming. I would love to come here again.

We’ve been coming here for some time but this was by far the best time! Our server, Vina, was super friendly and extremely helpful with the menu. Very inviting and playful personality! Gyu-Kaku never disappoints with food and service!
The meats were all good cuts, tender and full of flavor. The garlic shrimp are amazing 🤩.

This was my first time here and it was interesting. I enjoyed the meal and service. It was fairly busy on a Friday night. They are big on reservations and since we didn't have one, we had to sit 5 people at a rather small booth. But we made it work. They don't have liquor at this location, only beer and wine, which is fine with me but just something to beware of. I would definitely eat here again but at a less busy time of day.
Great atmosphere and great food. The waitstaff were extremely attentive and accommodating. They replaced and replenished our food and whatever else we needed quickly.
i love this restaurant, decor is great, clean and food seems very fresh and tasty. i would have liked more quantity but a meal for 2 plus some entrées were enough for us 3. service was fast in spite of a shortage of staff members. didn't feel like it at all. bravo, i will definitely come back
