My husband is a Heights Native, and well, we both love all things food. If it's a restaurant in The Heights, we've probably been there. As of right now, I can tell you, for the past several "date nights", family dinners, out of town guest dinners, and business dinners have all been held at KA. This is THE BEST dining experience in The Heights. We are there at least once a week, sometimes twice. KA has never missed. Some things we've come to really appreciate: Amazing Staff!!! Warm, friendly, and on top of things! They all work together - servers help each other even if it's not their table. We've done everything from large parties to just the two of us, and frequently have a new baby with us. No matter what we do there, they've always done an impeccable job! Drinks: If you order one of their craft cocktails, yes, it may take a moment, because when it hits your table, it's a work of art. There was a design drawn in the top of my whiskey sour - it was so beautiful, I didn't want to drink it, but of course I did. The bartenders know their stuff! If you want something to hit the table fast, order a glass of wine or a beer. Their bar has everything at every price point. Food: Where do I start?? First, some reviews state sushi rolls are small. I didn't like sushi for a long time because of big pieces - either a ton of rice, or too much in the bite in general. The balance of textures and flavors in the rolls here is amazing. It's high quality and we are always satisfied with the portion. The Deep Sea Roll is something I crave every week. We love the fact that we can order a variety of things and they pace the order so we don't have six plates of food on the table at one time. This is a place each dish should be savored. At the same time, we've never felt like we've waited a long time for our food. The menu has so many delicious options besides rolls. We find something new to try each time we go. When I saw "Chocolate Shrimp" on the menu, it wasn't something I was in a hurry to try. My husband finally pulled the trigger and it's one of the best things we've ever eaten. The Whole Fried Fish is fantastic. The Chef Selection of Sashimi is very generous and the servers walk you through the selection so you know what you're enjoying. Here are some of our other favorites: Spicy Edamame, Three Little Pigs (delicious pork belly), Tuna and Watermelon, Smokey Tempura Roll, Negimaki (great beef dish!), Lobster Ramen, anything on a hot rock (the mushrooms on a hot rock is really fun, great variety of mushrooms), the foie gras with a quail egg...oh, my!!! So delish!! And again...Deep Sea Roll!!! Happy Hour is a great time to go - they put a lot of their best dishes on the Happy Hour Menu and a generous selection of beer, wine and cocktails. It's true, there isn't a formal kids menu, but the Yakitori is similar to teriyaki chicken - it does the trick for our 13 year old. If you just ask, they'll also make the ramen for kids and they have some other creative suggestions. Vegetarian? There's a menu for that. Vegan? There's a menu for that. Just ask! The staff bends over backwards to do anything you ask. Service: A++++, Drinks: A++++, Happy Hour: A++++, Menu Variety: A++++, Deliciousness: A++++, Presentation: A++++, Cleanliness: A++++ LOVE KA! Awesome place to go for dinner with your special someone or even the boys. Very polite atmosphere, great staff. Whiskey selection is out of this world. The food is amazing, with a solid variety. Definitely recommended!

The food was fantastic! I had the Hakkaikan Scallops, which were thin sliced scallops marinated in a delicate sauce. They brought out a hot stone that we could grill the scallops. Definitely going back to this place!

Our server, Nicole was very attentive and awesome. She gave us great food and drink recommendations. When we got to the restaurant, there was plenty of parking however it is a small parking lot and of course there’s always construction around that area. We came for lunch when they opened. They have outdoor patio and the ambience was very casual-business casual. Everything was very fresh and delicious! My favorite was the Uni toast, the toast was soft yet slightly toasty and the uni was so buttery and Salmon Tiradito, very refreshing. * entrance door is heavy, they aren’t closed, just pull a little harder*

Absolutely delicious! High quality everything and great prices! The hot rock wagyu was super fun and the wine we got is my new favorite. Our server was super attentive and personable. Great gluten free options as well.

My daughter was craving sushi so we decided to find something close to home. Went online to search and found this gem. Literally around the corner which was a major plus for us. Last minute so we didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat the 4 of us right away. It was outside on the patio which is ok on a breezy day but it was a bit chilly and we were told there were patio heaters so we went ahead and sat outside. We had to grab our jackets from the car due to the fact that two of the heaters were not working. (We didn’t want to leave because the kids were starving and finding another place would have been a pain) But I’m glad we stayed. We came in time for their happy hour and it was a pretty decent selection of items. I’m a sashimi fan so I can’t say that this is the best place for it but the food we order did not disappoint. My favorite were the oysters. The staff was super attentive and our waitress was very helpful suggesting dishes since it was our first time here. Overall we will be back. Good food good vibes.

First time at Ka and it was excellent. The service and food were great. Was able to catch the happy hour and it had some great deals on drinks, apps and Sushi. The star of the meal was deff the sushi. The fish was very fresh and the rolls were very balanced. Deff looking forward to coming back and trying more things!

Came here with the family and from start to finish the entire experience was great. We stared with the hamachi chili and it did not disappoint! The pork belly dish was perfect. We tried a few rolls and they were all perfectly portioned, great presentation and the taste was awesome. Couldn’t have asked for better service as well. Highly recommend, we will be back.
