Really enjoyed this place. Great service, good curry, great spring rolls. I recommend getting mild unless you have tastebuds of steel. š
Only place my wife can find her thailand food to shop for, and a good place to eat, I like it all, but the bamboo shoots have got to go..lol
This place is fucking badass. If you are looking for authentic Thai food this is the spot! Super friendly staff and lots on the menu. Great grocery store--probably the only "Asian market" on the north side. Get your butt down there!
Great authentic Thai and Lao cuisine! Be careful on selecting the spice level... Thais / Lao enjoy it a bit on the spicier side. ;-)
Amazing food, great service, definitely a hidden gem when it comes to Thai food in HTWN..
So freaking good. I have wanted to try it for some time and I am NOT disappointed. Great service, great food. Curry puffs - wow. I will definitely be back.
I love this place!! Fast friendly service !! Now that they have a location in Sugarland, my life is complete now.. ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½
The food is awful, the wait staff is lazy....don't go here cause its all mine....My restaurant...love it ....
For newbies try the Khaopriak or 'wet rice' noodle soup with chicken then work your way up. Nice staff.
A great place to eat Authenic Thai food. The sevice is great also
I had mild beef with broccoli and chili sauce with white rice.
The bean balls are really good, too!
The parking was not substantial, though.
Great food and service!! Love the food!!! ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½
The best pad Thai I have ever had, consistently amazing.
Love love love the servers!
Stumbled upon this gem! Small, family style restaurant with quality food. Weāve been 3 times now in two weeks.
Yes itās that good.
The shrimp tom yum is my favorite, medium spice with a side of white riceā¦.. ughhh delicious.
This is authentic thai food with very reasonable price, definitely worth to try if you nearby. I loved the curry already before I eat it.
I saw some reviews complain about the server wasn't pay much attention on customers' need and give 1 star, well I don't really care if server came to say hello every 10 minutes, but food has to be good!
There is some high quality and flavorful Thai/Lao food coming out of this small market. They have a huge menu to choose from and service with a a smile.
The jerky appetizer did remind me of the bar snack I always had in Thailand. The chicken and rice had a great flavor and absolutely reminded me of Gai Yang on the streets of Bangkok. The Pad Kra Pao fell short though as I feel like they forgot the basil (the star of the dish). Overall though o was not let down by anything. I would happily recommend this place if you are in the area!
Also if you cook Thai food, this is a great place to buy ingredients
I came here craving something spicy and I was not disappointed.
I ordered Pad ka prow. It had a good flavor and high spice level. Make sure you add the egg!
My boyfriend and I love to eat here. We usually get the Tom kha, sai oui, cheese rolls and Thai teas. The sweet custard and sticky rice is really good too. I would rate all of these dishes 5/5. The service is very quick and they have a cute grocery store as well.
Great local place to with the entire family. It's small inside, just like a local neighborhood place, which is perfect.
It's was really refreshing to have Thai food in a no frills environment, really hard to find this style or establishment in HTX. Reminds me a lot of eating back home.
I had the Chicken Pad Thai. I loved that it was not dry and that the peanuts were given separate. It leans toward a tomato acidic base. Protein to noodle ratio could be better, but that is just me being picky.
Ordered the Cheese Rolls, I wouldn't get these again. It wad just spring roll wrapper with a piece of cheddar cheese. Great cheese to wrapper ratio, but I have had these at other establishments and they are usually cream cheese filled with imitation crab and veggies a small amount of veggie mix. Their version was not my thing, I should have asked, but they were well made
Thai Iced Tea was refreshing, clean, robust, and not too sweet. I will make sure to get another to go the next time I visit.
Mango Sticky Rice was amazing. Loved that they gave me sweet mango. Rice was not overly soggy or old. It was very fresh, sweet, and nice amount of salt. I would come back and order this again.
Great Thai food in a small convenient store. Fast and friendly service. The pork jerky was a bit dry but flavorful. The Tom kha soup was tasty. The kee mao noodle and pad woon zen were also yummy.
Best Thai food on earth!!!!! With an in-house grocery store......what could be better.
5/5 I truly love this restaurant and Iāve never been disappointed. All of their curries are amazing and I particularly like their yellow curry. What I love most are the spices and the assortments of chili and pepper condiments which is a thoughtful touch.
Me and my roommates have been patrons for years. this is the most authentic Thai cuisine that you can get near the Heights. Most other spots are white wash cuisine. Not that thereās anything wrong with that I just prefer them separate. Btw mild means Hot. iykyk
This is a hidden gem. Tried fired rice, red curry, tom yum soup, pad Thai noodles. All of those are great. Most reasonable priced Thai place in Houston.
The food selection is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! The staff is very friendly and happy to give culinary suggestions that bring an assortment of fulfilling dishes.
IT ALL TASTE GREAT! I highly recommend you stop by whenever you find yourself in The Heights. You will not be disappointed you did.
If you enjoy cooking Asian food, this market has a large selection of Asian ingredients that may be difficult to find anywhere else in the city.
I may have just found my new favorite place for Asian food!
Fantastic Thai food. You can request the Thai variant or the Laos variable of a dish. Great flavor even if you order mild spice levels. So a recommended place for people interested in trying out Thai food but afraid of spice. But as usual You can get Thai spice levels if desired.
Excellent service. Dive kinda ambience but that means fast service and great food. Thereās a grocery store too with fresh and frozen products.
We had the fried mackerel, chicken mussaman curry and satay. The satay was decent and the other two items excellent. It tasted home cooked šš
We will definitely come back and try other dishes.
Pretty decent decent hole in the wall place for Thai food. The lemongrass appetizer was not the best however. Penang, Pad Thai, fried rice was on point. and super tasty.. Will be back.
Easily the best Thai food Iāve ever eaten and I wouldnāt have expected it to be here. There are mild, medium, hot and Thai spice levels; I would recommend medium for a tolerable yet noticeable amount of spice. š² š š¶
Highly recommend trying something new here, you canāt go wrong.
