The food is amazing. I don't think I said one word after my first bite until I finished. I literally had to tell myself to slow down and enjoy it, because it was so good I couldn't stop putting it in my mouth. Best in town, by far. And the fries were impeccable. The service, while fast casual at the time I went, was fantastic too. The waiter, randomly, brought me one of the sauces from the Cadillac burger, just so I could try it. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Definitely one to add to my 'regular' rotation of good places to eat
Excellence in burgers and fries. Hard to describe it any better. Chose the 409er Burger with smoked cheddar, grilled onions, and crispy bacon chunks. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Price point a little high for burgers, but I will still return based on quality alone. Have to take a friend to tackle their monstrous chicken fried steak sometime! Parking lot is a challenge.
We wanted something very, very casual for this week and a friend’s recommendation came in handy! Grafitti’s at Union St was a great surprise for us. Actually, I can’t believe we had not been there before. As you know, we love a good hamburger and we really loved their hamburgers.
The food is awesome!! This place has a great atmosphere that can host parties too. I haven't had anything that wasn't excellent here. Their only flaw is that they do not have a large enough sign on the street to identify themselves, so most people don't know they exist.
Fantastic! Chicken fried steak with Mac & cheese was awesome! The service was very good. Other diners with us had burgers and loved them also. The best sweet potato fries we ever had! Be sure to come hungry. You'll leave stuffed.
The food amazing! The service, unfortunately, not so great at the beginning, because we waited for about 20 minutes to even be greeted at our table after having been told in passing by someone to seat ourselves. They made up for it though when they gave us a free jar of banana pudding to go! That was a real treat. I had a pulled pork sandwich with french fries and my husband had the burger and onion rings. Both were to die for! His burger wasn't dry and my pulled pork was super tender. I would definitely go back here even despite the service at the beginning. Beware though, you might overeat! This place should definitely be on Guy Fierri's show, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives! Great local joint and open late.
Imperial Burger. Juicy burger on fresh baked bun. Topped with Mac and cheese, fried onions, fried pickles, bacon jam and other mouth watering stuff.
Wow!! Just had lunch here. Great atmosphere, and incredible food!! I will definitely be back soon.
The milkshakes were super creamy and tasty. More than I could handle but worth getting too much of. You will want to come here just for milkshake but it's a cool place to boot.
Solid burger and decor. Music was sweet as too and decent beer selection
Great place! Love it! Vintage cocktails, vintage ambiance. Pretty cool vibe. The owners and the staff are very nice. Owners have us a little tour and told us about the art. The chicken fried chicken is fantastic along with the smashed potatoes. I didn't love the coleslaw but it wasn't bad definitely worth trying I'm just kind of a coleslaw snob I really just like my moms so I can't say much bad cause I did eat and enjoy it. The girlfriend got a burger and she don't like pickles so I ate the pickles off her burger and they were fantastic I think they might be homemade.... Tomato on the burger was also very fresh.
All in all excellent food, tasted very fresh. A great cocktail. Very friendly staff and owners. And a cool ambiance.
Great food and beer menu. Onion rings are amazing and both burgers I've tried were great. The beef makes all the difference here. Prices are a bit high, but portions are huge! The main dining room connects a great outdoor area and a more intimate bar space. Not my favorite burger in Htown, but close!
Very fun decor. Three of us in our party and we ordered the chicken fried steak which was split between 2 and the chicken fried chicken which could have been split between 2 adults or 4 kids. The cocktails were good as was the food. We all loved the Mac and cheese. We'll be back soon!
Great decor, friendly staff and quality of the food was good and fresh. I had the Cajun burger with regular fries. The bun, slaw and fried onion toppings were all good and I like salt but both the meat and fries were a bit salty.
I waited to post until after I ate my leftovers last night from Sunday. I love the food!!! Everything is fresh and homemade. I had to Beetle, a vegetarian burger. It's tasted just like a beef burger minus the guilt!!! This place is quickly becoming a Sunday ritual. If it helps...when we were there last, 4 of the Texans O-Line came in for the first time. I hope they liked it!!
My boyfriend & I are pretty big on burgers, so we decided to give this place a try. It definitely did not disappoint! The meat was seasoned well, the toppings were very fresh, and the in-house homemade buns were AMAZING. They were soft, fluffy, and warm, and taste like what I imagine a cloud in Heaven tastes like. We shared an appetizer of chips, salsa, and guacamole.
The guac was very good and very fresh! The salsa was also homemade and came warm, which was a plus. I personally got the Texican burger, which was very good, albeit a little messy. However, that didn't take away from the taste by any means. I also had their sweet potato fries which were awesome! They were the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive, and made us feel very welcome.
Overall I would say this place is a must try for burger lovers. We will definitely be going back!
It has to have one of the best chicken fried steak/chicken fried chicken in Houston. Perfect mashed potatoes and gourmet mac and cheese. Have tried friends' dishes and was not disappointed. I noticed the giant hot dog was also a popular dinner item as well as the mountainous burgers served on homemade bread. The banana pudding was obviously made fresh and packaged in a cute little mason jar. If it weren't poorly located, this place would be consistently packed with people. The ambiance is fun and playful. They put a lot of money into the decor and is like an Americana art exhibit.
The chicken fried chicken was delicious!! But it's a big chunk, so make sure you're really hungry. The staff was nice, but we were left alone for quite a while. The waitress was new though, so it's understandable.
My least favorite side was the mac and cheese. It was baked, so the crust was good, but it's a boring taste underneath. Nice ambience: chill, retro, jeans type of date. Finally, the Javalin (a foot long hot dog) is truly a Texas style hot dog with delicious chili. Next time I'll try it without the slaw.
