Los Tios has been our meet-up spot, date night spot, and our quick drink spot since forever. The staff is the best! One of the waiters has been there since the 90s, and he always remembers my face and name. He's the best! Cheers to Los Tios¡
We had my Mom’s 80th birthday here this past weekend and the staff and facilities were just perfect. The host and manager anticipated all of our needs and were very helpful with suggestions. The food and service during our little party were five star and we will definitely come back.
Great Tex Mex, and way better prices than other places nearby. The house Ritas are deceptively strong, and I love the homemade corn tortillas. I've been several times and have never had a bad experience. Get here early for happy hour, or you'll find the parking lot is already full.
We celebrated my Husband Royce’s birthday today! Amazing service, food, and excellent staff. Luis saw to it, that we were treated with Teheran best service. Royce asked about tamales, so Luis told us we could buy a dozen from the restaurant- so glad we came today, and found out great information and had a great time!
First time dining here and I was greatly impressed! They gave me complimentary flour chips and queso. The service was fantastic, quick, prompt and personable. The food! Pictured is the Buffalo shrimp. Massive in size and out of this word delicious. They offer a pick 2 item lunch special and, because in always on the look out for a great breakfast, I posted a picture of that as well. The interior is spacious and tasteful. I will definitely be back often. Thank you!

Though we got in almost at closing time, the service was exceptional and accommodating. The golden tacos were amazing.
We had a huge mix up with our DoorDash order. I had to return to the restaurant myself, which was frustrating BUT the manager on duty was extremely kind. Took the time to explain what happened and what she was doing to try and rectify it. Remade my order with quickness and provided outstanding customer service. It is hard to find great customer service in the food industry so great job Los Tios. Food did not disappoint either.
If you love Mexican food as I do, this is the place to go. The service is great. Have been to many Mexican food restaurants and have never had better service than I've had at this one.

Excellent place to grab lunch if you are in the area. The March Madness trifecta Margarita was amazing and only $5 is a great deal! Food was amazing as well. Waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back in the future If we are in the area again.
This is where I Rebecca Rios and my sister Debra Rios and friends would go right after school. Jr high up to high school. 1977 to 1987. I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana now. I will be back one day. I've never had anything that came close to my Los Tios Restrauant. How about a family and friens reunion. 37yrs ago.....Ms. Esmeralda Mendez!!! Boo Boo where you from? I can only imagian...Tex-mex or Authentic Mexican food. HELLO THIS HOUSTON, TEXAS!!!! IT'S STILL DELICIOUS MEXICAN FOOD!!!!! Tomato Tomatooo......anyone up for a Neighborhood REUNION!!!!!
The food is always great. Service is attentative. The Manager visited our table, checking on us. Really sone of the best TexMex food around. That, and they’ve been in Houston for many, many years.
Great atmosphere, great food..a bit pricey but worth it. Clean all around. Will definitely come back!
Hello everyone... tried this place for the first time and I have to say the food and staff were great and think people will love the food... but the inside needs a face lift and a couple coats of paint... just my opinion first impressions and everything in this business... What I don’t understand is the night and day difference between the food at the Los Tios on San Felipe and this Los Tios.
It’s a different restaurant I understand, but the food should taste the same. That’s a given, I believe - but not here.
Bartender David is the best around! Always get the queso with ground beef and a margarita on the rocks. Chicken fajitas or beef enchiladas are top here.
