Wow! Classy place, great food, attentive staff and wine? Wine, easily one of the best wine selections in town and reasonably priced, considering the high caliber vineyards elegantly displayed in a floating glass wall. Nice bar, private event room and cool lounge atmosphere! Great music, friendly clientele and convenient valet are all great but the food is the reason I will go back. With a large group of friends, I was able to try several different items from the menu. The 'Flats' are all great, the chop salad is really delicious and presented well, but the filet (a perfect medium) was the winner! Fun place, excellent eats and a wine lovers paradise!

Awesome 1st time experience last night.....music food and ambiance was on point. Real grown folk spot....the lobster wontons were ridiculously good...bbq chicken flat was good and the stuffed salmon was fulfilling and flavorful! Would definitely be returning soon
Friday Jazz night with Saxophonist Perry Richard was absolutely phenomenal!!! Peach Martini and all appetizers were also great! Would recommend Davis St especially on Friday nights if you enjoy Live Jazz!!!ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½
I loved the atmosphere and the romantic design of the seating in the restaurant and bar area. The food was excellent; a little pricy but, definitely five star.

Very upscale and classy. I enjoyed the ambiance, the music, and the staff. The decor was no less than beautiful and the dish and adult beverage I had were tasteful to my palate. My recent visit was my first, but it will definitely not be my last!
I was in a party of 3 and we ate there on March 25. I loved the feel and ambiance of the jthe place was wonderful. I enjoyed my meal (Duck and Waffles w/ watermelon salad) and the service was great. Would definitely visit again when I go back to Houston.
Absolutely the best service I've had in a while. The food was served at the perfect temperature and they made us feel at home. Great atmosphere and if you are a resident at the mosaic you get a discount. Keep up the good work.
I love Davis Street! It's such a classy joint...the restaurant offers a beautiful intimate setting with a big city flair! The service is as awesome as the environment!
Everything was GREAT! The food was fresh and hot. The oysters could have been charred a bit longer but it was good none the less. I will say they can do away with the pickled Okra because ummm yeah Okra in general (meh). Overall a great experience for my husband's birthday. Definitely WILL BE going back.

Everything I've ever eaten here has been incredible and the manager/sommelier is the most charming. The bartender during a recent happy hour was also wonderful - we always have amazing service here.
My husband and I dined here on Sunday. The ambiance was beautiful. We love the easy listening and jazz music. The customer service was amazing. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We are sure to come back again.
We were in town for 48 hrs for BeyoncƩ concert and wanted to do a cute dinner. We found this black owned gem on TikTok. Here are my thoughts:
Location: Easy to get to. Quick 5-7 minute Uber. The decor was very nice and itās white table cloths
Parking: N/A We ubered
Service: we made reservations, and there was no wait time - we were sat immediately. The service was top notch, not one dirty plate left on the table.
Ambience/Crowd: itās a very professional crowd, great for a date night or girls night out.
Food/drink : 6/10 We had the wine flights to drink, oysters - good but a bit salty, my friend had the Cornish hen - she said it was ok she didnāt finish it. I had the lamb chops - they were ok. The star of the evening was the bread! We didnāt order it and were told it was complimentary but it was on our bill it was delicious!!!
Will I be back? I would go back if I lived closer.

Itās one of Houstonās premier Black-owned fine dining EXPERIENCES. Chef Holly does his thing. And the bounce back game is strong with this one! Itās a bit different after Covid but I do appreciate the small touches that the old ways of dining brought us.

Definitely somewhere to go when youāre celebrating something or someone special. A truly memorable dining experience, excellent service and great-tasting food. Everything we tried on the menu was spectacular.
Reservations are recommended especially on the weekends.
My goodness. What an experience. Went here in a Sunday evening with my entire family (6 of us) and not only was the service outstanding the food blew us away. From amazing tuna crudo to melt in your mouth prime ribeye to an outstanding fried WHOLE red snapper. The sides of the kimchi collard greens and fried rice just added another level of depth to the red snapper. The service was on point with consistent checking in on my family and kids ranging from 8-15. The crew there was so welcoming and professional. šš½šš½šš½
The food was not what I expected it came out hot, fresh, and presentable. I ate everything except the biscuits they were alright nothing to brag about. The grits were different I expected cheesy polenta grits and got something completely different. The highlight of my visit was the outstanding customer service, fresh squeezed orange juice, and the Chardonnay. The food was not number 1 on my list but maybe Iāll come back to visit Iāll have a different dish that I can rave about. I loved the ambiance the bathroom had a odor which is bad when coed! Thank you to the big boss who shared his jacket with me because I was freezing cold! He gets the MVP award and made my visit pleasant. I should have asked him if he was single haha overall yes I recommend this restaurant truly a worthy experience
Delicious, delicious, delicious and just delicious. Did I mentionā¦.delicious š! The restaurant inhabited a great atmosphere but the music was horrible. It got better as the evening went on the music got better.
They were so kind to bring delicious champagne and buckeye cake balls for my sisters birthday! I really appreciate that! We will return very soon!
Came here for happy hour on A Thursday. Happy hour is 4-630. Great specials on food n drinks. Decent post work crowd. The staff was kind and attentive. Great overall experience.

This place is the ultimate place of elegance. The food is top 10+. I've never been any place where they get it right in every area and the food is consistent. You have to visit. Highly recommended 5 star fine dine. I'll be back again and again
Great atmosphere, food, and service!! I'd give them more stars if I could. My sister suggested the Caribbean mussels and they were so good my toes curled! I came back the very next day with my girlfriend and had the Nola oysters and grilled lamb chops and they were perfect!! Our server was excellent and the drinks were amazing. Even the water we started off with was good as if they seasoned the ice chips or something I dunno.. but everything is good, please try it!
Overall experience was good...not great.
We had a reservation, arrived on time, but was not seated until 14 minutes after we arrived. We watched them seat other people immediately, but we had to wait. It was just 2 of us and we weren't given a reason as to why we had to wait except they were still getting the table ready. When we got to the table...it was nothing special about it. Just had the glasses and silverware on it.
The food was pretty good and the servers were nice. My husband's food came out perfect but there were issues with mine. They did make it right by comping it so I don't have many complaints there.
I also appreciated the fact that the staff wore masks, even though most appreciated to be vaccinated (they had buttons on that said they were).
We would definitely go back because we really enjoyed the meal and the ambiance was nice.
