My first time visiting and I am in love. I ordered curry chicken, cabbage, plantain, rice, and peas. It was freaking phenomenal. I finished my entire plate.
I had 2 Hurricane drinks which were strong. Don't sleep on this place.

We pick this place at random. We did not read any reviews before arriving. At first glance we were a bit skeptical. I honestly thought I walked into a bar. The place was also empty, so I have to admit I was a bit nervous.
The atmosphere was a bit off-putting, nonetheless we ordered food. Then we went to read the reviews. 😑 I immediately felt we were making a bad choice. We even thought about just leaving. However, we wanted to give it a chance, and stayed.
The food arrived in a timely fashion. In such a time that was not too long that it got frustrating, and not too fast that we thought the food was old or questionable.
Instead we were given what you see in the photos I took. Curry chicken and Jerk chicken plates (small size).
The food was hot, flavorful, and delicious! I was very surprised, having read some of the reviews.
We were glad we stayed, and I would encourage you to take a leap of faith and try this place out.
The place may give off a certain vibe, but the food is well worth it all. Especially the jerk chicken!!!
Oh yea, I waited to write this several hours later to make sure i didn’t experience any post-lunch sickness - I know how some of y’all think! No issues.

Went here while traveling through Houston. This was thee best Jamaican food I've had! We ordered the oxtails & stew chicken, both were delicious! The meat fell apart it was so tender & the gravy was one of a kind! The service was excellent! We also grabbed some beef patties to go & they definitely didn't disappoint. They weren't dry & the filling was decadent! Will absolutely come back if I'm in the area again!
Stopped by while I was in Houston for work. Candy was my bartender, she provided awesome service and recommended the Brown chicken which was amazing. Fresh food and great service. I will definitely be back soon!
Our first time visiting. Travels from out of town. Some of the best Caribbean food ever. We had Oxtail, jerk chicken and jerk wings. The coconut bread was soft and delicious. 5 star! Highly recommend.
7/11/2020. Called in my order. Lady who took order had to be new or untrained. Order was ready when I arrived. Good thing is she checked plates before I left. Some improvements needed. Cabbage was tasty. 3 meals $50 w/ tip.
Asia is an awesome bartender. Drinks are on point. Chef Ty on the oxtail, peas & rice w/ cabbage are the BOMB. I will definitely be back. Come and join us
Candy is the most amazing ever. Her customer service was on point, full of good energy and really knows how to make a customer feel welcomed. The food and drinks were amazing.
Let me just tell y'all that I haven't had a meal like this in a years. I got the Jerk Chicken and yo 20/20. It was fresh, meat was falling off the bone, spicyness was perfect. Recommended it to all your family and friends. TRY THIS SPOT!
I this was my first time here.the food was really good, good atmosphere, great hospitality and the owner was very attentive and nice.clean restaurant and good music.thank you soo much.we will be back. Recommend a 10/10
Great place overall. There definitely doing great works and there improving themselves on a daily basis. If you've been there before and haven't been back recently you are definitely missing out on all the improvements. From New ownership, menus, staff, theme, interior enhancements to better quality food n service... You'll love the new experience. Please consider another try and check out there new coffee bar, You'll thank me later.
