I never review things but I just had to RAVE about the food at Empire Pizza . I lived in New Jersey most of my life. I have lived in several other states and even countries and have tried many pizza places that claim to be New York style pizza and they always disappoint. Empire Pizza went above and beyond any elxpectations and tasted like pizza from home! If you want real New York style pizza in Houston, Empire is the place to go!
It was the best pizza I had eaten since living in Houston TX for 16 yrs. It took all of my will power to not order a second slice. The is fresh, natural ingredients and alive with flavor and mouth watering goodness. Awesome!!!!

I visited Empire pizza 3 weeks ago and I tried several slides from different NewYork styles, everything was so fresh and delicious ,I really recommend this place.
I grew up outside of NYC and know the Empire State (and pizza) well. This place is legit. The brothers who run it are good peeps (of course they are from NYC area) and they have other restaurants around there. Their pizza— is the best I've found in Houston (I've lived here since 1974) if you love and miss true New York style pizza.
Had the eggplant veggie pizza and garlic bread. Fresh and full of flavor. Amazing customer service.

Amazing Pizza, amazing Crust, & Amazing Staff! You should have the Eggplant Rollatini Pizza... It will change your life � The place is clean, the service is friendly and fast, and when I was there (on a Sunday evening) the staff was all working together and there was a manager (maybe the owner) overseeing the staff. “JuneBug” is a really cool guy with GREAT customer service... He approached us when we walked in and asked “Is this your first time here?” And when we said yes he was happy to show us around and make suggestions. This is probably going to be my new “go to” for pie :)
Their version of a margherita pizza is ridiculously good! A true white pie too. None of this Alfredo sauce crap. Somebody who actually knows how to make NY style pizza.
Place serves really really good pizza. Ingredients are fresh and quality. Staff is nice and the store is clean with a nice look. I have ordered multiple times already and their delivery is a god send. Highly recommend giving them a try. The food is amazing.

Absolutely amazing place to eat!! The staff is so friendly and the food always comes out fast!! Very clean and organized every time I come in! I’ve ordered the Stromboli, Pepperoni Pizza, Caribbean Strawberry salad, Zeppoles, and Cannoli- I recommend everything! I got to this place once a month at least! The best pizza you can get delivered or you can do takeout too. I see Mazen their offer and he’s always awesome. I don’t have a pic of the wings but they’re amazing!
Amazing , fresh pizza 🍕. The sauce is so sweet and fresh it’s delicious I got the pepperoni and it didn’t taste like other pepperoni it was unique and a scrumptious. The atmosphere is very relaxing. It’s a New York style pizza and it’s top tier one of my new favorite pizza places. The staff is very friendly as well
I was in the area and craving pizza. I decided to take a chance on Empire Pizza. Upon entering, I noticed the decor was very fresh. The staff were friendly and greeted me immediately. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza to go. The pizza is legit. The crust is almost perfect. A true NY style crust. The sauce is fresh with real herbs in the sauce. There are even pieces of basill in the sauce. All the ingredients tasted nothing short of amazing. I give the pizza a 7.5/10 which is a pretty hard score to get when it comes to pizza in Texas.
My only complaint is that while the crust was cooked to perfection, the cheese and pepperoni could have used more time in the oven. The cheese was not well melted in some areas and the pepperoni could have used some color. I know that when I reheat the leftovers in the air fryer, it's going to be a 10/10. The kids loved the pizza too. A true gem in Houston and very family friendly. I recommend you give them a try!
Been coming here for a while now and my experience gets better every time. The bbq chicken is my favorite pizza. The guys here are amazing and good people. Looking for some great pizza and great costumer services well this is the place for you.
There Food is delicious just wow and I have tried there cheese pizza and it was delicious really loved it. More people should try this taste it is all newyork feel sitting in Houston. All thanks to Bee he is Amazing such a heart warming person. So good to have people like this in such dignified restaurants.
I love NY style pizza and luckily, it wasn’t such a task to find a place in Houston that gets the pizza just right. I’ve ordered once and the second time, I dined in. Both times, it truly hit the spot. The interiors are New York themed and you definitely transported there. The cheese pizza and their garlic knots are highly recommended! The staff is really friendly and welcoming.
Found the place by driving by the other day. Went in on a Friday afternoon for lunch to try them out. Gotta say, I'm very impressed. Got 2 slices of the deep dish all meats. I was actually told that one slice should do me, but I fought back, still got two and finished them both. Sauce and crust were fantastic. I found a new place for when I get the pizza cravings. Great service!
I LOVED THIS PLACE. The service was impeccable (shoutout Jay) and the food was even better. We ordered and the food came out like 3 minutes later it was hot, saucey, and cheesy (Jay even gave us desert in the house). We ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza, pepperoni with jalapeño, garlic knots, and penne a la vodka. Everything was so fresh and tasted delicious. If I could tip him (Jay) $1000 I would. The prices are great and i would recommend this place to everyone.
Finally a place that fits us. The pizza is amazing and tastes pretty close to real New York pizza. The garlic knots are exceptional. I recommend a side of vodka sauce to go with the garlic knots or to dip the pizza crust in. The service was great and the guys are really cool. The price can't be beat for how much you get. After a huge struggle of finding a good place around here since moving I think this is the one. Five stars all around.
I've gone here a few times since moving to Texas and this is the best pizza place Ive been to in the Houston metro area. They have great service, friendly staff. The prices are reasonable and the pizza is fantastic. It reminds me of back home in NYC. They also have the best vodka sauce !

They are 100% my favorite pizza place in this area. The management is attentive and cares about their work. I get a personal margherita pizza with grilled chicken on top and it’s perfect. They are open late and it comes in clutch. Their pricing is also pretty fair for the area. Give them a try, you won’t be upset !!
I am always on the lookout for great Italian food in this city because it's my favorite and Houston isn't exactly known for it. I feel like I struck gold by discovering Empire Pizza. I ordered some well-known classics: garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, and penne with vodka sauce. All of the dishes were outstanding! The garlic knots especially were a standout to me. They were super soft and pillowy, and I couldn't get enough of the accompanying marinara sauce. Also, I thought they absolutely nailed the vodka sauce. I am so happy that we get to have an Italian restaurant of this caliber nearby. Thank you for such a great experience.
First time customer. Loved the margherita pizza and the cheesecake. I drove 25 mins for the pizza. 💕💕loved it. The reviews I read are on point. It was obvious that the owner was invested in the customers having a very positive experience. Great job. Your objective was achieved. Basic sit down facilities with top quality pizza. Will visit again soon.
The staff is very friendly, they are fast, it was our first time at the restaurant and they explained the menu to us, they gave us the pizza in less than 10 minutes just out of the oven, very delicious, I will definitely come back, my boyfriend and I chose 50/50 Hawaiian and meat lover.
