A must try if you're in the area, but also worth planning the drive out to. Prices are low, food is amazing quality, and the portions are LARGE on everything ordered. Food comes out fast staff members are attentive and welcoming. The pictures don't do it justice. Corn bread is Fluffy not dry. Cheddar broccoli soups taste is up to par. Daily specials for 11.99 mix and match any entree from that days special with your choice of two sides. Drinks are your typical fountain drinks. Fried Pickles as an appetizer we couldn't keep our hands off.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Went there while visiting in between flight and cruise. The cost is around the same line as everywhere else I’ve gone, but their portions are about twice even three times the size. I got a chicken fried chicken breast with eggs, biscuit, gravy, hash browns… you know a good ole fried up down home breakfast. I like to believe I have a pretty decent appetite, and so does my 5 foot wife. We both had to take her portions and cut them into half for me and third for her. A bill that was less than $30 with drinks and we ate 3 times on it. It was so good we went twice while in the area. Go… its worth every cent to eat there. You will NOT be disappointed.

Stuck in traffic in the area and decided to stop in for a chill dinner. They serve you with fresh hot rolls and a cornbread muffin i loved that. The fried pickles were really perfect. Just the right about of batter and crispiness, plus they were sliced super thin. I ordered the Wednesday burger special but it was lacking in flavor the fries were pretty bland also. I would like to return and try other things on the menu!

First time being here and we will be back! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The portions of the plates were so big for the price! The size of the plate here would be well over $20 at a chain restaurant. The only downfall was that I ordered a salad and the lettuce was a bit brown around the edges.

If you love country cooking, this is the place. Not only are the portions huge, you get 3 sides. I love getting the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and red beans and rice. The beef stew, chicken fried chicken, turkey and dressing, and baked potato are also my favorites.

Landed in Houston for the First time and asked my friend to take me to a place the served great diner food at a fair price. This place exceeded my expectations! :) Excellent service combined with Texas size portions at a fair and reasonable price :)

Draft post... for 2022 Last day in Texas and everyone stopped for breakfast at this restaurant. It has a country style appeal not only outside, but also inside. Pulling up and also walking towards the door, you do not know what to expect. Peeping inside just about every table was full; this alone let us know that we were in the company of good eating. Our waiter Joshua, was very courteous, accommodating, and extremely attentive to our big crowd. Although they had a wait in the beginning, they were very quick in getting you seated with no problem. #memphisfoodblogger #travelingblogger #googlemapsguide #facebookblogger #yelpblog #twitterblogger #tiktok #instagramcontent #houstontexas

Great food, great service. TEXAS SIZE SERVINGS! I loved it, it was my first time here and I didn’t know what to expect. The food was delicious and didn’t take much time to come out. The eggs were so good. Just look at the picture and GO. And the fried pickles were so good as well.
