I love the menu selection. It's a very different option of soup, sandwich, salad and pasta. The menu selections change regularly and you can always have it your way. The lobster bisque is the best. Great wine and beer selections. Super clean, fast personalized service at Fair prices. My favorite quick meal stop.
I don't know where to start. Bread, pasta, salad, sandwich wraps ....... ALL AWESOME. However, the best of the best was the customer service we received.
Fresh food, great atmosphere. I love the portions and choices.
Excellent food and enjoyed watching the preparation.
Great meatballs! Excellent service. Fast and convenient!
Stopped in tonight. Quick service, really great food, very satisfied customer! Thank you for doing it right!
Love love the calamari... I work at the Dunkin on the corner but I order there everyday
OMG, amazing......just left and I'll be back soon.
The Chef is amazing 🥰and has a very kind soul. Food delicious 😋 😍 👌 place is clean 🙃 I will give them 10 stars 🌟 🤩
Great food and fresh ingredients! The avocado came with a full half of an avocado as well. I suggest going with one of their options as opposed to creating your own the first time. The first time I tried it years ago I created my own pasta and it was just ok. Years later I try again and I love it! Lots of parking and a friendly staff too!
One of the best Italian joints i have been to! Hands down, great service. Good prices.
They were wrapping my burrito & tortilla got torn somehow, he himself changed the tortilla & gave me a intact piada. They genuinely care for customers. Sauces are good, it can get busy quickly. I’d go again.
Delicious food and nice staff! I've been dining here over the past year and have had great experiences. The food is fresh and not too expensive. $14 for a regular build your own pasta bowl with chicken. I typically mix the Alfredo sauce and the Diavolo sauce.
The staff is really nice and interacts with their customers. I look forward to coming here for lunch and getting out of the house while working from home.
Had an amazing lunch at this location today! Izzy the catering manager was so personable and even helped me create a salad so close to this recently discontinued bacon blue. The team members were fast and didn’t mind all my questions. Might have to make this location a monthly stop :)
Pretty good chain counter service place like the Italian version of Chipotle or Cava... food can be a bit on the heavy side, but the wraps and greens/grains bowls are a fresh option for a full-filling and guilt free meal. They have Italian sodas in the fountain which is a plus. Nice casual meal.
This was our first visit. Wish we lived closer. The food choices were plentiful. I love that you can make the pasta dish your own way and size. Staff and Chef were so great. Definitely be back when in Houston.
The cashier (I did not get her name!) was very kind to my son and I!
Our order was made fresh, this locations wasn’t as seasoned as the one on Fannin but still had a great taste!
Piada is always good for a quick serve. I love their build your own pasta kind of stuff. The ambiance is lovely and so are the people that work there. Kudos to the team that keeps it going. From pesto to their spaghetti, everything is freshly prepared.
This is very similar to chipotle in terms of concept. When it comes to food selection everything is fresh and some things get whipped up to serve. They have most of the italian selections for pasta. Alfredo sauce, marinara, pesto and all. And there are veggie toppings.
The staff was very friendly and patient. This was our first time and they explained everything thoroughly. The food is fantastic, fresh, and they give large servings! We loved it and will definitely be back!
Wow!!! First time to eat Persian food.
The lamb shank kabob was absolutely delicious and was served not as I expected. What showed up on the plate was a huge bone surrounded by the entire shank! The meat fell off the bone. The homemade saffron pistachio ice cream was absolutely amazing and the texture was beyond impressive.
Honestly, I was blown away as I didn’t know what to expect.
The owner introduced herself and was extremely pleasant.
Such a great experience!!!
Super convenient! I was able to order my food straight from google. GPS got me there in 5 and my food was ready as soon as I walked in.
Also, best frickin protein bowl I’ve ever had literally in my whole life. So good. Will be back a few times a week
A++
Excellent Chipotle-style restaurant that serves a variety of Italian street food-inspired items. Depending on the size of the crowd, the wait time is generally minimal. All of the piadas (which are burrito-like wraps) are delicious and taste freshly made.
Simple, quick, easy, tasty. Order at counter and customize as u go. The menu is both Italian and broadly Mediterranean with all the options they have available. I like the nearly unlimited salad options I can come up w including grilled seasonal veggies, beans and proteins depending on ur mood. A very small patio outside is available that’s kinda funky how they squeezed it n, but people use it. Even though the dining room is super casual I like that they didn’t buy tiny cheap uncomfortable chairs like a lot of joints... their chairs even make u feel welcome along w the friendly staff that helped me out for my first lunch here. They have some great juices on tap as well... will b back for sure as price is fair for the offerings.
I’ve only had it once, and it was really good. Prices were reasonable, and I believe they gave me enough to make it worth it. They’re popping up around town, so business seems to be good. Not sure if they are always busy, but it was busy when I was there. I feel like it was about a year ago or so.
Piada is a nice place. After passing it on Memorial Drive literally dozens if not hundreds of times, I decided to go in, and I'm glad I did. Piada may be commercial, but it doesn't feel jaded or hyped.
Upon arrival, I was assisted by a very nice food preparer who answered my questions about what's available - congenial service, to be sure. My order was a pepperoni pastry stick (not the best description, but delicious, I promise) and a small bowl of penne pasta with various toppings. In addition to regular Pepsi products, they have another fountain tap featuring Piada-branded flavors like orange and berry sodas. The orange was tasty, sort of like an Orangina if you've ever had one of those.
The decor of the place is pretty - high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows facing Memorial Drive, with stylish, spacious seating and fixtures. This is a place you could bring a date if you want something nice, but not overly expensive.
My personal preferences - and why I didn't give a full 5 stars (I wanted to give 4.5, but that's not possible and 4.4 is the average rating anyway!) - were for the music and the sauce. The music playing over the sound system had a bit of a "bistro/techno" vibe to it. In and of itself, that's not a deal breaker, but so many businesses seem to default to that as background music these days. The origins of Piada are the founder's visits to Italy. Why not Italian standards? Or jazz (smooth or classic)?
Regarding the sauce, the pomodoro was good also, but a bit on the sweet side. I prefer my sauces to be saltier. Again, not a deal breaker by any means, and many of you will like the pomodoro, I'm sure.
If you go to Piada for the first time, I suggest starting with a small pasta bowl - the serving size is quite ample. If you find that doesn't satisfy you, the regular serving will be more than enough. And don't forget to order a pepperoni stick - I plan on making a meal of several of those the next time I go. I will try the actual piada wraps on another trip.
I enjoyed the food so much, I had to say a happy word to the chef, who was actively at work - and, apparently, is the general manager! Well done, sir! Abbondanza!
Absolutely amazing service!!!!! And the food is *chef’s kiss* good! Izzy is amazing. So sweet and personable. Besides the amazing food, her customer service keeps me coming back!
