We got the queso, tres salsas, ox eyes and the stacked enchiladas and Omg everything was amazing!!! The mango habanero salsa was the best! Service was awesome and I even got a free beer because they poured the wrong one for the table next to me. All of that was only $40! Will be back :)

Second time update: It was another great experience - starting with the menu selection and the service. First time update: Everything at La Grange was perfect. The service from Angie was five star! She made sure to check in regularly to make sure we were ok. We ordered the queso with brisket - it was perfect…and the brisket took it to the next level. The drinks were excellent! The perfect rendition of the Margarita!

The quesadillas are BOMB here!!! This is truly an ideal place for drinks or happy hour any night. The outdoor hacienda type patio is lovely and the staff is friendly and attentive. Good drinks & food at reasonable prices which is hard to find around here

Really nice spot to watch the sun go down. La Grange has a large outdoor patio with two levels. Inside are some bar games (shuffleboard). Good vibes, good food. All the food had some heat, which was nice. Fajitas were particularly tasty. It was all pretty inexpensive too. Definitely the cheapest restaurant meal we had in Montrose.

Great place for drinks and food after work. Excellent frozen margarita, cold Mexican beers. Birria tacos were flavorful, queso was on point, and grilled head on shrimp were tasty. Good, friendly service.

Food here is very flavorful!! My compliments to the chef as always. Glad to visit again. Service is ALWAYS great. Today had the pleasure of being served by Katie. She's very sweet and attentive. She has a eye on the room. Thank you Katie. Bringing the Reggae band inside due to the summer heat was a great idea. But the band didn't transition to an indoor volume. With the concrete walls and floor, there's nothing to absorb the sound. They are far too loud today (3-Sep-23) for this enclosed space. This musician and music lover could not enjoy the music like I had hoped to do today. This will not deter us from returning. This place is a total vibe and we love it.

My new fav spot. Prices are reasonable. Portions were a good size. Relaxed vibe. Unique venue. Good service. I’ll go back for sure. 2 drinks 2 appetizers 2 dinners $60 with tip. We sat out on the patio. That photo not included or the other inside bar. Go check it out for yourself!

Place is nice enough if a bit loud. Had their nachos with cheese and chorizo and it's great! The burger was a bit of a letdown as it was a bit too greasy, otherwise it would have been a great burger

Super super cool place. A total revelation. The beef fajitas smothered in each part of the très salsas appetizer is a totally new and fresh Mexican flavor, which is hard to accomplish with all the competition in Houston. The terrace and general atmosphere/vibe are spot on. Perhaps my favorite aspect of this restaurant is the amazing, non-stop, in your face soundtrack. I've never taken notice of some many awesome songs in a row at perhaps any establishment in my life. Wherever they are getting their playlist from... Amazing. There's a nice selection of beers, wines, and tequila inspired drinks. The house margarita is perfectly on point. Located in such a premier spot in Montrose, right across from local favorites like Poison Girl, Cafe Brasil, and Empire Cafe, La Grange is a can't miss spot for an evening out in Houston's Montrose district.

Pros:Steak night- food was well flavored steak was a little crispy on the edges but definitely edible shrimp were great. Presentation was awesome. The location and parking is really good for this area. Loved the music Cons: Bar service was just a little slow when i got there it was 4 people at the bar and it took 15- 20 min for a bartender to come over.

Pros: There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, the ambient is a cool modern setting with a cozy feel, the food was not the highest quality, but prices were very reasonible. It would be a great place to accomidate drinks and or dining for large groups. Cons: Service was slower, but professional.
