From the food to the service to the atmosphere everything was excellent! I loved that they had a kid area! I had the pork sandwich and it was a combination of flavors very filling! My husband had the Peruvian beef and it is a little spicy but also delicious!

Good spot for salads. Decent portions but the salads lack flavor and freshness compared to local foods. Service was fine too but had a few hiccups. Worth visiting if you want something healthy in the area

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed Mendocino Farms. I was in Houston for an over night stay, & took a chance. The BEST sandwich I've ever had. The gluten free bread is amazing. I'll definitely return whenever I get a chance!

Love their sandwiches! Great customer service as well. Our host Ellie was very helpful in explaining the menu options to us. Very welcoming and polite as well. Sandwiches are very well done. Had the steak and bacon sandwich on sesame bun. Fantastic is all I can say! Yummy!!! Will be back.

OMG! We moved here from NorCal and was super happy to see very similar menu items, albeit a few different flavors because the dressings on some salads and the goat cheese comes from different farms I was told, but it was amazing customer service and the same type of feel and welcoming atmosphere. Met Lee, the manager of this location, because there was something that gave my daughter a slight allergic reaction, but he was super helpful and apologetic, and they made it right with free cookies and a refund for one of the items that we had ordered. It was so good to hear how this Rice Village location is really striving to be the best by offering the same highest quality options and ingredients that we has gotten used to in Cali. I had my kids with me, and they were out of chalk, but the children’s area was clean and quiet, the inside was largely empty on a Friday afternoon around 3 (right after school) which was a nice respite. This location has plenty of outdoor seating that flows naturally with other “patios” of eateries next door. There is tons of parking and even. 2 hour free garage attached to the building. The avocado and quinoa salad was amazing as always. The pink lady beets and goat cheese salad didn’t work for us here. The grilled cheese and grilled turkey and cheese for kids were amazing in their well toasted brioche. See pics.

The food was great! I got half Italian beef, southern macaroni salad and the Thai turmeric lemonade. The vibe was cute for a laid back day. The staff was super busy, and that made them unable to tend to the lobby. Customers, please remember to clear your tables for the next guests coming behind you.

I am a Cali native and came across Mendocino Farms in California I did not have any idea that they had made it to Texas and I was absolutely elated. Once I found that out I quickly made my way to the closest one near me. This location is a very cute location. All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the food is delicious, I love the chicken Caprese sandwich along with the modern Caesar that crunchy quinoa is to die for they need to package that stuff up and sell it just on its own!
