The waiter with the big beard is the best! Ask for your steak with the onions and mushrooms, you won't have to remember this if you get the bearded waiter. Great vibes, good quality, generous baked potato bar.

Nice place, very casual, great vibe. Lots of space inside with small outside patio. Great sports coverage and an impressive menu of bar food. Very decent prices. Slow at 5pm but gets busy at 9pm till close.

Forget your $60 steak! On Tuesday , for $14.99 you can get a huge steak, loaded baked potato AND a pint of draft! All the games are on the screens. College Football season is packed house with all the rivals galore ( actually really fun to partake in) and NFL season is a blast and quite rowdy! Plenty of places to sit ( that includes outside). Oh and one of my favorite things are there are free jello shots when our home team scores! They also do crawfish events during the season but you have to check the FB page. Griff's is my "go to " for St. Paddy's with events leading up to the big day! Oh, and they are FUN ( if you can remember, the next day!) Mind you, Griffs is not the prettiest place, yes it is a sports bar but it certainly does the job. If you want to have good drinks, food and laughs, and memories, you have the right place. If you want to go to a overpriced swanky lounge type location with stuffy attitudes, have fun with that as well. Each to his own. I love Griff's. It's real.

Do you remember that TV show where everyone knew each others name? Or remembers it? Yeah, that's Griff's. You will immortalize moments here, foster the crystallization of memory, and floss your brain with the atmosphere, wings, and trivia. Home is where you make it, but hold what you've got because Griff's already made it. Just get over here and get a drink and sit down. Welcome home.

We had the fried catfish and green beans with iced tea to drink. The catfish was fantastic...two huge filets. The green beans reminded me of my grandma's. Food was delicious. I should have know better than to get iced tea in a bar but I wasn't drinking anything stronger when I have to get back to work. The bartender/server was very friendly and efficient. It's been a long time since I was at Griff's. Hasn't changed much which is good for the service and food but bad on the steps/deck going in. It's a bit treacherous sober in the daylight so I'd hate to navigate it at night an tipsy.

Came here randomly, google lead the way! I loved this little spot. It has great customer service & the food was delicious too. Highly recommend their fried pickles and their famous cheeseburger 🍔 it is a pub/dive vibe & it seems like everyone semi knows each other. Great for going alone or linking with friends.

Great atmosphere, lots of TV's to catch your game on. Food was so good. Our only issue was it took an hour to get our food!!!! That wasn't cool, our friends had to box theirs up when they got it because they had to leave so they didn't get a good experience with their food, I am sure it was cold while eating it on the road.

Pretty cool bar. I am not gonna lie it is biker friendly and it is TEXAS TECH friendly!!! I think I have found my new spot to go watch football season next year. Heard the owners are Texas Tech fans which is amazing it not another bar full of coogs and aggies no offense to the other school lol

I will always love it here. Amazing steaks on Tuesdays, baked potato And a beer for only $14. Delicious PBR for $1 on Fridays. Solid bartenders that know their stuff. Unassuming and a proper pub with good grub to match the service. Good for any time.

Friendly people, atmosphere, good food, reasonably priced drinks, karaoke on Fridays. St. Patrick's day is overpriced, but the rest of the time it is the Houston's top spots.

Best 'ol school' chili dogs in town. Proper beef dogs, toasted bun, rich-flavored chili sauce...cant go wrong.

Loved this place when I lived in Houston 30 years ago. Still love it when I visit. Neighborhood dive bar at it's best. Sports, great food.

If you're ever in Houston this place is a must. The pub may look run down but the food and service is amazing. Recommend the Philly cheesesteak and the pork chop lunch special!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
