This is "The" location to go to. My wedding party was running terribly late & hadn't eaten & wouldn't be able to eat till 6pm. Our party of 5 walked in & it was busy & full. I asked how long the wait was because we were in a major hurry. They were able to sit us immediately.
Even more, the manager heard & came to our table to get our drink order so we didn't have to wait for our waiter Huan L..
The service we got was immaculate!!!
Between the waiter & the manager, we got our hot delicious food within 10-15 minutes. The coffee cups kept the coffee hot the entire time, so I bought 3 to take home. Thanks to the impressive staff we all were in & out in 30 minutes flat.
This is my first time at a toasted yolk & this experience was by far was top notch!!
The food, service & atmosphere was exceptional.
Thank you so much for making my wedding day start with happy full belly's

Our food and service was great! The grits and hashbrowns were delicious, flavorful! The pancake was ok. And the other entrées were scrumptious too!
The coffee was delicious. I usually order the shrimp and grits, but today I got the East Coast Arnold. It wasn’t the best, but their hash brown casserole never disappoints. Drinks are also really good here, it’s always a fun time.
Visited here for breakfast. Food, drink, and server was great. Ordered one of the yolk favorites, avocado toast with 2 eggs over medium, house salad with excellent lemon dressing and a grapefruit mimosa. It was really good!
Everything was good. From the first point of contact at the host stand to the server at the table. One of the managers did a table touch as well!! Only reason we didn't order more is because we had to go shopping lol. The mimosas and churro doughnuts were a hit as well. We will definitely be back!

This strawberry field salad was so delicious. I didn't realize that it was going to be such a large portion, so I packed half in a to go container as soon as it came to the table. The strawberries were fresh, and the lettuce was crispy 👌 😋 Although the raspberry vinaigrette is a great flavor, it overdressed my salad. I recommend requesting the dressing in the side.
I went for a girl’s brunch and it was honestly great! we had a party of 7 and we had a round table ! It was truly a wonderful experience, my first time there and they did not disappoint! If you come here make sure to try the hash-browns!!! they are delicious!

Great food, clean, and outstanding customer service from the hostess to our waitress and every other staff we came in contact with. I will definitely stop here again next time I visit Houston. We enjoyed our food very much. We had the shrimp and grits, and the toasted yolk.😋
Finally, a delicious breakfast with nice portions that won’t break the bank.
I love love love the thick-cut sourdough French toast. Their french toast isn’t soggy and mushy like some “other” places around here.
Real eggs, not powdered ones like some “other” places.
The pancakes are HUGE. If you get eggs, meat, and a side trust me when I say you only need one.
Great grits and yummy, buttery biscuits.
10/10 - highly recommended. This is my new breakfast spot in Houston.
My absolute favorite breakfast restaurant! My only regret, not coming here sooner. I had the best chicken and waffles ever, and they are not even in the menu. So if you want to try them, ask for them. The chicken was done just right, juicy and tasty. And you don't have to break the bank eating here. Our waitress Danielle gave us great service!
First time trying The Toasyed Yolk since it had really good reviews online. As we went in it was so open and inviting. The hostess greeted us at the door. There wasn't a wait when we went a Monday morning. The restaurant was very clean snd our waiter was really nice. Since it was our first time, he let us know that the portions sizes are pretty big. He was right. The patio is pet-friendly which is nice to see, more places should have that. The food was delicious and well worth it and it wasn't expensive. I would highly recommend The Toasted Yolk and would definitely return on my return to Houston.
Awesome service. We sat outside. $3 mimosa’s on Friday and they’re not tiny weak drinks. And the food is HUGE. Delicious and HUGE. We will return. This was my first time visiting. Highly recommend. They even have a veggie option on the menu. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Really really good food. Only issue is the waiters don’t even know their own menu to help guide you with the food selection. One just left us as she had to take other peoples other first. As if we were not already been waiting 15 mins for someone to explain us the menu. Will come again just the staff needs to be educated on the menu.
Very good atmosphere and servers. Food and coffee is extremely good. Go if you can, you won’t be disappointed!!
Everything was great. The French toast was a bit crispy but still was so good! Drinks were fruity yet strong. The cowboy egg scramble was a southern delight, kinda reminded me of biscuits & gravy. The hash-brown casserole was surprisingly good! Grits were bland in my person opinion. Very spacious place with indoor and outdoor friendly. It’s also dog friendly on the patio. The brisket egg scramble was okay, I wouldn’t order it again, it didn’t taste like brisket at all.
We tried this place on a whim over a year ago and it’s still my go-to when visiting Houston. I love the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and always the signature dish- The Toasted Yolk!
