I ate here the other day and this was THE BEST raw vegan meal I have ever had and I’ve been raw vegan for over 10 years… the food was so fresh and delicious… and it was filling without being too heavy… it was amazing… I don’t live in Houston but I will be dreaming about this place until I am fortunate enough to return. I had the salad, pizza, wrap, & strawberry lemonade and it all SLAPPED!!!

The food is seriously delicious 🤤. The atmosphere is real homey because some of Dr. Montgomery’s patients talk about their journeys back to health and are so warm and friendly. The vibes are all positive!

Very positive staff, friendly and tasty food. Gotta love the folks at the garden kitchen! My favorite part about the garden kitchen is that you can eat anything there without having to be concerned about the ingredients and what is in the food.

The food & service is absolutely AMAZING! The staff is very knowledgeable with decision making on what would be good to eat based off my preferences. This new journey I’m on is superb. Thank you Montgomery Family

Portion size and cost are a consideration. Paper containers are best for take out not on meal plan. Those plastics aren't recyclable. Food quality and taste are good. More variety with greens. Would like to see more arugula.

It's pretty good and decent tasting food. First time here: it's small (only 5 to 6 tables for two - except for one which sits 4) and there are no waiters/waitresses. The food is decent and great but that depends on what you get. I had the soup of the day - gumbo - and it was really good. Drinks: I had the strawberry lemonade and honestly I would go back simply for this. I loved it.

RE: Saturday September 18th around 3:20pm The food and menu variety is spectacular! Customer Service: I called around 2:30pm to confirm the hours and to let them know we were on the way. She told me the cafe will close at 3:30pm, although the website says they close at 4pm on Saturdays. This was the first visit for my sister, boyfriend, and me so we were excited to say the least. When we arrived the Security Officer pleasantly greeted us and told us the cafe was still open. Upon entering the cafe, the woman noticed us, but she continued sweeping for about 2 minutes without greeting us. The Security Officer came in the cafe and told the cafe worker “you have 3 Customers” but this still didn’t help. My boyfriend had to ask her if she was still taking orders; it was still prior to 3:30pm. She answered by telling us that she didn’t have everything on the menu and she already put some items away because she’s closing. We had to ask her to explain what was available. I understand she was working alone, and the cafe was closing soon, but, customers should always be properly greeted. We would’ve felt more welcome if she said “Hello, I’ll be with you in just a moment” or a smile and acknowledgment of our presence. I called and let her know I was on the way and arrived prior to the early closing of which she advised. I expected the same service as if I arrived when the cafe open. She prepared our ToGo orders accurately and we each enjoyed our meals. Although the portions are small, the raw high nutrient content makes you feel full.
