Always a great place for some decent ramen and drinks. Parking may be difficult, be prepared to spend some time looking for street parking and playing Frogger crossing Washington St. Come during October for spooky time, when Halloween decor is up with special themed drinks and food.

Such a creative yet fun little ramen house to be in! The ramen is great, the drinks are crafted nicely, and the atmosphere gives you that "I wanna live in Japan right now" feel to it! Totally a place worth visiting by after an awesome night with friends! 🍻🍜

The bartender was super knowledgeable and had great recommendations on tequila and food. First time having this coffee liquor it was great. Good chill vibes.

Such a cute spot! The staff is all so kind, visitors are friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I have been able to meet random strangers here, which is rare in any establishment. I also had the BEST cocktails I have ever had by a bartender, Alex. He managed to keep the bar patrons entertained as well. The ramen was delicious! My favorite in the area. An amazing spot that I definitely recommend! Parking can be tricky on the weekends, but I recommend parking in the neighborhood. Check for signs though just to be safe!!!

Found this place by recommendation of a local and previous employee. I originally came to visit the day of the snow-- but it was overwhelming, so I left and returned today. Had the original pork belly ramen for dinner on my way out of town, did not disappoint. The bartender Alex was extremely accommodating and friendly, even went out of his way to help with parking. I'd recommend paying for valet parking or Uber, as I did end up getting a parking violation (that's on me) as parking in the Heights can be quite tricky-- but it was worth finally getting to check out the place. Alex is the only reason I stayed and wanted to try the place out. The ramen is fresh, authentic, good, genuine food pork belly ramen. Some of the best ramen I've had in Houston, I travel frequently so I always appreciate a good bowl of fresh ramen. The vibes from one of the staff members was extremely weird, I walked up and he smoking while on duty IN FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT-- unless he's the owner, that's weird and against TABC but considering the conversation he had with me, I doubt he was. This particular member even told me to park at a tow away zone-- wouldn't be surprised if he was on something, you could just tell this dude was wired on something. He couldn't make coherent words or phrases. If it weren't for Alex & the Chef, I would have left. But, regardless of how uncomfortable that staff made me feel, I decided to stay since I was there for the food not the people. It's worth making the drive to check out this hole in the wall. I was even excited because they had a fairly large selection of Asian whiskey, would have tried it if I weren’t driving. I often find if great restaurants can conquer the simple meals, they can conquer more elaborate ones. Definitely will return if the road brings me back to Houston.

Hole in the wall. Concise but effective menu. One of the few ramen places I’ve been to with noodle refills. Vibe is impeccable. Broth was flavorful, pork belly was charred to perfection, eggs were perfect texture, and the noodles had perfect bite. Astonished at how humble this establishment is considering the caliber of the food!

Really great that they’re open so late, ramen until 2pm! The staff is incredibly friendly. Bartender knows his stuff!

The atmosphere was cozy, clean and quiet (around 8:00 pm on a Sunday). The Food and drink was delicious. The Ramen broth was flavorful and the noodles were nice and thick. Had a whisky recommended by the barkeep Ducie and it was choice 👌👌 I will be coming back with friends ✨

One of the nicest place to grab a bite and drink. Staff is attentive and nice. The bartender, Alex, makes amazing cocktails. And the Chef, Khua, makes delicious ramen. Very relaxing and cozy environment. If you're a whiskey lover, Ninja Ramen has the largest selection of Asian whiskey in America. This is an amazing place to make your weekly (or daily) favorite.

We keep coming back! Friendly neighborhood bar with a very unique and expertly crafted cocktail menu. The drinks are so good, you forget you are there for some of the city's best ramen. There aren't a lot of choices in ramen, but you can't go wrong with any. Great umami and depth of flavor, and always a free noodle refill! Bartenders are super nice and knowledgeable. If they were open for lunch it would be a 10/10
