The donut holes and cake donuts are excellent, and the Vietnamese coffee is authentic and made to order. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, especially early when everything is fresh.
B & B Donuts is a relatively new favorite breakfast spot of mine. When I drop in I purchase a couple croissant breakfast sandwiches. You have your choice of a meat, egg, and cheese on a buttery croissant. Their other pastries are very tasty as well. I highly recommend making a stop.
Update: I'm not sure what's going on, but the last couple of times I've been here they've been closed. Their hours used to be correct, but something has changed.
Original: I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. I love B & B donuts. I personally have a preference for cake donuts and their cake donuts are really good. The kolaches are really good too, sweet and soft and delicious. In addition to that, the owner is always so sweet. If you haven't yet, stop by and check it out.
All of you people giving 1 star because of their hours are real pieces of work. If you were a regular or got a chance to know the business owner you'd understand that a virus recently came over from a far away land and wiped out small businesses in the United States. The owner has to adjust her hours to meet demand and support her other sources income to make it in this new economy. Giving someone a 1 star review hurts her business and you should literally take a look in the mirror about why someone trying to survive makes you so angry because you cant eat their donut.
- side note - this place has always been super polite and nothing but a ball of joy when I visit. I hope that things get fully back to normal so I can enjoy donuts earlier in the day but until then I will continue to support this business when they are open.
The best donut spot in Houston. If you're like me and you just want to find a place that does a good fluffy glazed, and don't need a whole brownie on top of your donut, this is your spot. She also does some iced and decorated donuts, but for me it's the other options that steal the show. I'm a big fan of the cinnamon twist! And they're Bavarian cream is fresh stored in the fridge, so when you get a filled donut they fill it right there. It's my husband's favorite. I also love that you can get breakfast or a Vietnamese sandwich. I personally am obsessed with the croissants used for the breakfast sandwiches and my hubby loves the breakfast burger. Overall I haven't tried a thing here that I didn't like. The best part is the lady working there is very kind and considerate of others, and just an all around sweet person who deserves your business! It's definitely worth it to become a regular, in addition to becoming a hero to anyone you bring these donuts to ♡
On top of having some of the BEST donuts in Houston their customer service is amazing. My husband loves going in and chatting with the woman who I believe is the owner. She always gives him the freshest donuts that come out still warm from the fryer! This place is a must try.
This place has now become my second home. Every morning I stop here and the owners always make me feel like I am family. :) I am always met with a smile and laughs even at 7 am. The lady is so sweet and will do anything to get you exactly what you want. The long johns and Vietnamese coffee are what get me through everyday. :)
The staff here is so sweet! The lady at the counter gave me some extra donut holes which were so light and melted in my mouth. I also tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and spoiler alert it’s delicious. My first one ever and B&B delivered. So happy this place is down the street from me
This is a great small business that makes delicious baked goods. The owner is very friendly and I've never ordered anything I didn't like. They open a little later than most bakeries/donut shops, but please give this place a try if you are in the area!
One large, savory kolache, a fluffy sweet donut, and a weak bodega coffee run you less than $5. You aren’t paying for the atmosphere or the coffee, but they know your name and their stuff, serve you a no-nonsense, filling breakfast fast and on the cheap. Love this place.
I have been coming here over a year, and every time it's a friendly welcome! I recommend the croissants, I usually get the bacon, egg, and cheese. The kolache's are really good too, and obviously the donuts. BUT I ordered the Thai Iced Milk Tea, its a cantaloupe color, was skeptical, but OMG it's delicious!!
I love this place. LOVE. Best in town. Boudin kolaches are outta sight! But they don’t keep regular hours anymore. I’ve driven out of my way at least a dozen times in the past six months only to find the store closed. With the pre-covid hours, open at 5am everyday, still posted on the door. Every time I try to go later. Yesterday was Friday. I went after 9:30am. If you’re a breakfast place that closes at 3pm and you’re not open before 9 on a Friday, there’s a problem. Especially since I specifically asked last time I was in what their new hours were, and she told me 9. I go home disappointed and hungry every time this happens, but still refuse to go anywhere else. I’m concerned more than anything. Are y’all okay?
Five stars for the best apple fritters in Houston. A good amount of apple, not doughy, crispy edges, fried til on the dark side for more flavor, and glazed like a gilded lily. Plus extra stars for the owners being so friendly.
I lived in Houston for 8 years and was here ALL. THE. TIME. I always send friends there. Everyone there is so nice, service is great, food is delicious. It's one of the things I miss most about not living in Houston anymore. Will visit soon!!
Excellent donuts, fantastic breakfast sandwiches on either biscuits or croissants, and my personal favorite the boudin stuffed croissant (a stroke of absolute genius). Breakfast is great, but I was blown away by how good their Vietnamese sandwiches are for lunch. Starting with a fresh baked baguette, marinated grilled pork, fresh julienne carrots and a cucumber wedge and topped off with a really tasty Asian style mayo (kind of sweet and light, if you haven't had it before). The french fries and egg rolls are also top tier. Everything mentioned above is made fresh daily and is INCREDIBLY cheap all things considered. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a cheap lunch option or a quick breakfast stop, or you want to bring some donuts/kolaches into the office you will not be disappointed. Finally, the folks running the place are very friendly and service is prompt and professional. A real gem, wish I'd found this place years ago.
Great friendly service. Delicious apple fritter, donuts holes, and white-filled donuts! Decent prices, too. $6.99 per dozen glazed or $7.99 for a dozen filled or iced. Also be priced by the half dozen and single.
Donut holes melt in your mouth. Their Blueberry Donut is better than anything Seattle has ever produced. Anything that they put on a croissant is awesome. Super friendly staff. If you are on the fence about going...get off the fence and go. Why the hell are you on a fence anyway. Cheers.

One of the better kept secrets in the Montrose area. Believe it when you experience how far a few dollars can go stretching breakfast into lunch!
The people there are pretty great. Like there awesome attitudes flows through into the kolaches, croissant sandwiches and donuts. The service is pretty quick as the lines move with a great sense of urgency. The feature is especially favorable since many of the people on the way to work have that "I woke up late and need to be at work in 10 minutes" rush.
Their lunch is funny. Funny because they throw in their Asian cuisine in the mix. Fried rice or a bacon cheeseburger on a croissant bun? Weird but it works!!!
If you are in the Montrose or Midtown area do give this a try. It's worth it.
