It was amazing to walk in and find ash trays on the table, felt like I walked back into time! The food was delicious and the staff was so very sweet and caring. A homeless person walked into the restaurant saying how hungry he was and the waitress gave him eggs and toast…touched my heart. When I’m back to Houston I will return here!

So the place was kind of dead, but besides that, I really enjoyed myself. The service was very nice. Very attentive and nice waitress. Food was cooked quickly but didn't compromise taste. Wouldn't mind returning back. Plus they have Mrs. Pacman so.....thats just a win win.

Very nice cozy family vibe restaurant. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The overall place is super clean. I ordered the veggie omelet plate with grits and toast. The omelet was a little overcooked for my liking and the grits were clumpy and watery. I didn't eat the grits. Overall, I enjoyed my omelette and toast. Hubby had the steak omelette with grits and biscuits, he seemed to be pleased with his omelette. Definitely will return if ever in Houston again. Nice place.

The food was great! The service was exceptional. It is open 24 hours and it has a small non smoking room. Unfortunately, you can still smell the smoke. The onion rings were great !

Exactly what we were looking for! A small friendly place that has great food. The coffee was amazing not too strong and not to hot. Our waitress was friendly with our toddler and even gave her a happy face on her cup. Very flavorful food with good portions for a good price. We will definitely come back.

Breakfast is good, fast and friendly service. One down side is the smoking section, although there is non smoking area, the smell of cigarette is pretty strong. I'll definitely have their food again but maybe take out as prefer not to take the kids in to be exposed to the smell.

I will only eat there when Tammy is working and the cook that works her shift. Any other time, I will not because the food is gross and sometimes burnt, and the other waitresses beg for or ask for money and say how they can't pay there rent or lights and ask for you for money. I think it would be a really popping place of they would fire everyone and hire a hole new cew. I say if you want to eat here only come Friday to saterday 3pm to 11pm because The food and service will be amazing

Del's diner isn't a five star restaurant. What it is however, is a place where locals can go for good food, a friendly face and it's open 24/7. It has been at its current location many, many years. I highly recommend their burgers.

2nd time we have eaten at Dell's . We had breakfast with friends, as always the food was great. The staff were really friendly too. And almost forgot to mention that the food came out really quick!

Del's is by far one of my favorites. It's just a basic diner that offers all the traditional diner fare. It's open 24/7, and has the hole-in-the -wall appeal. The food is good, and the portion sizes are generous, maybe too much so. I've learned to order the small version of whatever plate captures my attention. The waitresses are always friendly and provide top-notch service. Your glass or coffee cup will never run dry. The coffee is so good! Just a word of caution, though. Del's is not located within Houston city limits. Therefore, they are not bound by Houston's smoking ordinance. While Del's does have a non-smoking section, you will still smell cigarette smoke. If you are sensitive or allergic to smoke, you might want to skip this one. It doesn't bother me, so I stop at Del's every chance I get.
