Co Lan I believe is her name. Request for her and thank me later. Her service is exceptional. It changes the whole experience. We love to get the beef shrimp and squid hot plate and make our own spring rolls at the table. Their ABC soup is perfect for kids. I wish they dusted a little more.

Usually order medium grill fish takeout. Don’t have to wait long. The order comes with grilled catfish, bean sprouts, cucumbers, pickled carrots, peanuts, fish sauce, mam nem sauce, rice paper, and sometimes green bananas.

Nice, simple place. Very good food, reasonably priced. Typical light Vietnamese flavors with the option to spice things up. I did notice they water the soap down in the women's restroom to the point where it just squirts out like straight water. Needed to mention, so they might stop doing that, because even though it's just mildly annoying, it's like, come on. Tipped them $20 on a $29 bill, so hopefully they put that towards soap.... Like, I'll BUY you soap. Don't skimp on THAT when the restroom isn't even nice to begin with. Still 5 stars overall.

My sister and I shared the 7 beef orders. It was enough for two people. You have the rice paper that you roll up with your veggies and meat to make your very own spring roll. The service got slow once we got our food also more people showing up. There were only two waiters for the lunch crowd. I would definitely eat here again!

The salad that was served was fresh, not your typical salad dressing, but the shrimp dressing was good. The carrots are the best!! You get to grill your own meat, shrimp, squid and wrap it in a thin clear tortillas. The catfish was crunchy and good. They give you a separate water bowl to wash your hands :)

One of my favorite places to visit when visiting Houston. The 7 courses of beef is excellent as well their beef vinegar fondue. Portions are large enough to share.

I would have to say this is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in all of Houston! It’s well known for their 7 beef course! I would often visit this establishment at least twice a month! I abs love getting the sizzling beef plates that you cook yourself and roll your own spring rolls. That’s the fun part about it. Second favorite dish would have to be the baked catfish! The skin is so crispy and the meat is tender. Service has always been great for me especially if I see the sweet old lady treat has been taking care of me for years! This will always be a go to favorite for my family. It’s almost like a tradition to come here for birthdays! loves it.

The whole fish is the highlight of this place. It's a whole catfish that is fried then broiled topped with green onions, peanuts, fried shallots. It was very good with a Crispy skin and moist meat inside. Very fun to so make the sorting rolls with it. We also got the bo nuong vi with the lemongrass beef and seafood platter. They oil the plate and the meat with some kind of vegetable oil and not using butter which was a disappointment because the butter would have given it better flavor and crisp. The cons on this place was the lack of AC (that have multiple fans around the room that will blow hot air on you) and the service was very slow. We had to get up several times to ask for drinks or napkins and even waited 15 minutes after our spring rolls were delivered to get the dipping fish sauce. Maybe they need to hire more wait staff? Or poor waiter was running around like crazy and still couldn't keep up... we tipped him extra for the effort

Amazing experience! The food was so delicious, and the restaurant itself smells heavenly. The egg rolls were incredible, and the pork loaf was addicting! We can't wait to come back again!

I’ve been here since my childhood with my family who enjoys the 7 course beef. It’s pretty filling and tasty, but one of the courses of beef is alphabet soup, which is yummy but makes the price less worth it. But overall the food is great and the restaurant and service is fine.

Visited here today and had a nice dinner. We ordered the Bo La Lot which is ground beef wrapped in Hawaiian leaf and grilled over charcoal. We added the Banh Hoi which is the steamed thin vermicelli. It was totally a new experience for me rolling up my own spring rolls. It was actually fun! I typically get the shrimp and pork spring rolls but the beef was definitely an interesting taste. It came with the rice paper, vegetables (cucumber, plantains and carrots) and greens (watercress, and lettuce). All of the fixings that you need to make your very own personalized spring roll. I typically dip mine in peanut sauce (I am addicted), and eventually started adding it to my roll before I rolled it up. The decor is plain, but it is spacious enough so that you don't feel swamped. As someone mentioned, the noise level is above average, but it does not negatively impact on your own individual conversations. Our waitress was awesome. She kept refilling my water, and was available should we need anything. I wouldn't mind visiting and trying this place again.

Good spot if you want spring rolls!!! The nuoc mam is weak tho. I forgot to take a picture of the fish…

7 course beef is pretty good. “1 order” is enough to feed two people. Some of the meat was a little too sweet though. Overall still pretty good.
