It's a little place with picnic tables under a porch. The food takes a little to cook but if you have time, it's worth the wait. I tried the fried shrimp. 💯. The Hushpuppies were the best I've ever had!!! And the fried catfish was just the way I like it. Good texture and breading was done right. I have no complaints. Except I wish I had room to try the boudin eggrolls. Next time I will. Returning for sure.
This is a hidden gem! The catfish fillets were thick, flaky & fresh, and the batter was a golden crisp of deliciousness!!! I also had their shrimp, fries & hush puppies, all yummy, tasty & flavorful 💗
Been by this place a few times and finally stop by, I love to support independent business and wasn't disappointed in the taste of the catfish and fries! Location was clean and it's outdoors with shade.

The only thing, sadly due to the problems impacting our economy the price was over $40.
Just for something I wanted to enjoy, I had to pay for the food because of the prices of everything go up due to world events, I stop enjoyed the food.
This is the best fried fish, fried boudain balls. Any thing you buy here is not a disappointment. Great customer service and Clean. Prices are great for the quality and the quantity. Pork chop basket is excellent
Very friendly spot. I liked the picnic table for lunch experience it was nice and cool out. Had the fish and shrimp combo. The flavor on the fish and shrimp was good. The seasoning on the batter was spot on. Fried up crispy like I like it. You can tell the fish and shrimp was fresh. The French fries could use a little work but I wasn't there for the fries anyway. When I'm in the area I know where I can go to get down home fresh fried Catfish. 😋
We had the fried fish and shrimp. The cook did an excellent job on our food, and the Kool-aid was amazing. Great customer service. Will definitely be going back again.
We are from Louisiana, and let me tell you, the fried fish is amazing!!!!!! The hush puppies made me holler, and the fries were seasoned to perfection. The food was so fresh and I’m beyond satisfied. I’m so glad I found this place, and when I’m back in Houston, this will be the FIRST spot my family and I will come to!

My order was fantastic, prepared fresh and seasoned to perfection. It was a lot of food, so you can eat off it twice (that's if you are not greedy) wink wink. My only complaint is that the fish that I had was not catfish. I believe it to be that whiting fish a lot of companies try to pass off as authentic Catfish. But good nonetheless!!!
Went here today to get the fish, fries, and hushpuppies combo. It was just as good as it was several years ago.
First of all... just so y'all know, get there before 6:30PM or they will be closed. They don't take orders after then. The reason is because it takes 45 min. to prepare the food. My wife and I had the catfish and wing combo. It was seasoned very well and came out smokin hot. Customer service was ok so I give it 4 stars. Nothing write home about but definitely will come back if in the area again.
All good in the hood everything is good that I have tried fish shrimp gumbo which mom loves and they will bring it out to your car the people running it are nice the ask how everything is and make you laugh even though its is small there is a lot of parking. And there is an outside eating area as well. Just a little pricy but totally worth it. Get it get it yum yum.

I had been looking for a delicious fried fish place on our side of town and boy did we strike gold! Black owned, Food is sooooo delicious! Good portions, fresh and hot. I don't know the gentleman's name, but he brings your food out to you too.
