The Flying Biscuit Cafe was an adorable restaurant. The people were super friendly and our waitress was very attentive. Food here was exceptional but warning there is alot of it. If you can't eat alot you might consider sharing. I got the stuffed French toast breakfast which included 4 slices of cream cheese filled/strawberry topping French toast, potatoes, 2 eggs, Biscuit and sausage patties. I was unable to eat it all but it was delicious. My husband ordered the high flyer which had eggs, bacon, waffle with chicken strip, Biscuit and sausage gravy and amazing loaded grits. He really enjoyed it as well. We officially decided this was the best place we had ever eaten breakfast.

The waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and took care of our 10 people table like a pro. Let's talk food! The stuffed French toast breakfast is now one of my favorites for breakfast. I love that they have chicken sausage. The biscuits are fresh and perfect. Must visit location.

Service was good. Food was great and portions were generous. The grits were amazing: creamy and well-seasoned. The French toast was so huge, my friend and I had to share it.

My favorite American Breakfast spot. Biscuits, waffles, grits, coffee, eggs, chicken sausage, and more...so much of everything..next time I'm trying the shrimp and grits. Price is fabulous for what you get. Service is a little slow, but at least you have time to enjoy your meal.

expect to wait for a little minute but best believe they are working as fast and hard as they can ! food was great, very filling ! I had the chicken and waffles, chicken was nothing special but the waffle was cooked to perfection and my cousins girlfriend had the strawberry cheesecake stuffed french toast which she loved ! the price was bad at all for the amount of food you get and it comes out quick hot and ready ! wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

For those from Atlanta, you’re likely familiar with The Flying Biscuit - its namesake is delicious and the creamy, dreamy grits are worth the calories. This Houston outpost is smaller and wasn’t as crowded as I’ve seen in other cities. I had the mini bowl which included grits, cheese, sausage and egg with a biscuit. This was plenty of food for brunch and all the other portions are rather large.

It was very crowded. Despite that I only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. The restaurant is cute. Not very big, but big enough. Lots of murals on the walls. The French toast was good. My favorite was the grits and the biscuit was very good too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the eggs etc but they were ok.

It was very good, but not 5-star. The biscuits are wonderful as are the grits. The bacon is fantastic. The stuffed French toast is very good. The most surprising thing to me is that the eggs were kinda tasteless.

Great food and great experience! Our server, Dawn, had very helpful suggestions and was extremely attentive and friendly. The menu selections were varied and had a number of uncommon and delicious items. The honey butter chicken and biscuits Benedict was terrific, and the accompanying home fries with queso and bacon bits were unique and outstanding. We’ll definitely be back.

The customer service was good! The food was great! I had the stuffed French toast breakfast and OMG!!!!! I absolutely loved it, and you will too!!! We don't eat pork, and they had chicken sausage and turkey bacon, so that was awesome!!! Ask for Corina!!!! She was my waitress and was very friendly and attentive!

I love this place! My favorite dish is the Dirty Bird which is Hot fried chicken over a Texas shaped waffle with 2 eggs (I get scrambled) and gravy on top. It is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy! I really like the atmosphere of this place too. It is light and homey. Service is good but it is a relaxed atmosphere and is more of a place to take your time at rather than be in a rush.

Very lovely place to go for brunch. Server was friendly and food tasted delicious. Only thing that bothered me was the table we were seated was wobbly so it was a bit difficult eating while the table moved..

UPDATE: I do not like grits. That said, we came back for the grits bowl breakfasts. Over-the-top FANTASTIC. Mine came with two sunny side up eggs, bacon and a biscuit. Our waitress, Christine, was great. We LOVE this place. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wow. Quality of product and service reflect quality of management and brand. Flying Biscuit Cafe is on ROCK SOLID GROUND here. NOT a grits guy at all. Never have been. Their creamy, dreamy grits were part of the breakfast as a side. Could have been the focal point of the breakfast. They were that AWESOME. Just incredible flavor and wonderful texture. Balanced. UNIQUE. I will come back JUST FOR THE GRITS! And the biscuit, hands down was the BEST biscuit I've ever had. French toast also pretty special. Had the Eggstavagsnza. Hard to beat. Overall, this is an elevated southern style breakfast and lunch eatery. Not typical diner food. The restaurant itself is open, light and friendly. Very comfy and has a positive vibe. When you walk in the folks are glad to see you. And the service is absolutely the best. We feel like this is a great breakfast find. We will definitely go back. Great food. Great people. Yum to the tenth power!
