OMG I’m Mexican and “fish tacos” are not a thing from the part of México I am from (those are proper from touristic places close to the beach) so I was skeptical about these, but I tried them and I’m hooked! It is highly recommended to come get them on Mondays because the special gives a nice money saving. The fajitas are also good and were part of what we ordered today. Chips, salsas and soft drinks are self service and to eat, we need to place the order at the register first and they will bring the food to the table. And the place is really nicely Tex-Mex (mostly Mexican inspired) decorated and staff is really friendly. Definitely coming back soon for the margaritas and bar specials too!
As a lover of authentic Mexican food Berryhill Baja Grill and its tex-mex food really impressed me. Their fish and shrimp tacos are amazing probably some of the best I've had and the tamales did not disappoint. The margaritas were great too.
Berryhill never disappoints. They have great food and service. The happy hour hours are from 3-7. They seem like they have good deals. The nachos were good. Would definitely order again.
Berryhill has been at the memorial city mall for a long time! And everytime I visit the cashiers to the bartenders are sweet. I always get the baja burger! The only thing I would advise is to not get the kids chicken nuggets they are too hard.
Had their grilled fish tacos and they were delish! No way to eat them and look dignified, you're going to end up with hot sauce somewhere on your face but totally worth it! And everyone who works at this location are super polite!

Great food! Quick and friendly service. My wife had the "award winning" fish tacos, and they genuinely are outstanding. Highly recommended! I had the shrimp and avocado salad, and it was really yummy. I had it with the chipotle vinaigrette, and wow! that was great flavor. I was a little surprised by the thickness of the vinaigrette, but I am glad that I took the chance. It was good. The chips and salsa are also good. For a restaurant in a mall, this place is surprisingly good, and we will eat here again.
Although my friends didn't like it...I enjoyed my dish enough to not have to get a refund. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was friendly. The bartender...I think named Chris (guy with dreads) was very helpful. I would go back but get my food with more season and without the sauce from the kitchen...it was a bit too sweet for my taste...but like I said I still ate it. Probably because I didn't know I was pregnant at the time. Lol. ;-)
The food is honestly really good. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. Food comes with self-serve chips and salsa/ranch/dippings. I HIGHLY recommend the fish tacos, those are extremely good. One thing to be wary of, is the price. One taco is $4.25. My girlfriend ordered a fajita skillet and it alone was about $15. Altogether, paying for my table of 3 was ~$50.
Food here is amazing, definitely recommend their original fish tacos. On Mondays their fish tacos are $2. Chips and salsa is complimentary. Good music, good vibes. A great place to bring family or friends. Fairly empty during daytime hours.
I canNOT understand the low ratings some people have given this place; I've been a number of times over probably 8 years or so and had a consistently excellent experience. Quick and easy service, a great bar of extras (including delicious ranch-style sauce and zesty pickled veges), and they have my fave shrimp tacos anywhere. Drinks are good, fun atmosphere, easy location right on the edge of the mall. Great stuff!
We had a great get together at Berryhill. Nala was working the register and her attitude and service was impeccable. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed her job. We had a group of about 12. Two orders did come out incorrectly, but this was fixed right away. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was fun.

Berryhill has very unusual Mexican food. It's not like any other Tex Mex or International style Mexican food ..and it's very very good. There are tamales which are hard to find at many Mexican restaurants and are already world famous not to mention their specials on margaritas and on Friday the special that they have on fish tacos. Berryhill is a good place to eat Mexican food. When you walk in you get free chips with excellent sauces including carrots and jalapenos and a great red sauce all under heated lamp that you can bring to your table yourself so you don't wait for somebody to bring you more chips and it's all just part of the Berry Hill experience. You order at the counter and they give you a number and bring the food to your table. The margaritas are full force ..all their food and combinations are excellent. The salads are crispy and did I tell you about the fish tacos? I like to eat at the one at Memorial City because I have my dinner there and then head on over to a movie at Cinemark for a date night. Check out Berry Hill for really great prices and Mexican food that's out of the ordinary..
YUMMY, OMG You have to try the breakfast tacos they are amazing. Every time we go here we get the stake for heat a case idea and it is enough for 2 people so now we like to share one and munch down on the endless chips and dip. They have the best dip and it is unlimited the same with the chips and the soft drinks all 3 of those you can get on your own whenever you want it's perfect we love how this place is right outside of the mall. They have an awesome menu they are known for their Baja fish tacos and so much more it's definitely a great place to stop in.
This was our first visit here and I can guarantee we will be back! The service was fast and everyone was very friendly. The free chip and dip bar was awesome too! My husband had the fish tacos and said they were delicious! I'm vegetarian and I was impressed with all the veg friendly food they had for a small place. I had the deep fried avacado taco and it was incredible! Oh and check in on Foursquare for a freebie! I received a free tamale :)
Best fish tacos I have ever had. Great margaritas, self serve salsa and chips bar, and Crawford Bock on tap. What more can you ask for. Definitely coming back
In all honesty, Berryhill has one of the best frozen mangoritas I've had, and I've had a lot of them in the Houston area. Their fish tacos are also pretty amazing. I'm usually very picky about my beans and rice but they definitely make the cut in terms of flavorful. It's nice to sit in the actual restaurant and way from the loudness in the mall food court. Highly recommend you go for happy hour when their margaritas are 5 bucks.
