One of the best restaurants with quality food. I’m not exaggerating when I say that imperial union has been a family tradition in my house for over 10 years. I thought the plates were big growing up but as I grew older the plates were still considered to be big. You get more than what you paid for here the orange chicken is delicious and you cannot beat their crab puffs. Also their staff is very hard-working, most fast food places were closed due to hurricane Nicolas but this business took precautions and the right measures, in order to keep their business afloat. They even have a generator to keep their kitchen going. Now that is a business I can get behind. The pricing is fair if not underpriced. Their food is really good, highly recommend. I ordered the Orange Chicken that came with a choice of steamed/fried rice. Also I bought some crab puffs because who doesn’t love them 🔥👅❤️
Our first time ordering from this place using the Uber Eats App. Food was fresh and hot when it arrived. All items ordered had great flavor. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Chinese, Asian, Asian Fusion for lunch or dinner. For soups, we ordered the Wonton Soup. The soup had great flavor and was hot. Enjoyed it very much. I also ordered the Chicken with Broccoli which comes with your choice of white or fried rice. The Chicken has a great savory flavor. We also ordered the General Tso's Chicken. This kind of tastes like the Orange Chicken but with a little spice to it. Very tasty as well. We also ordered Chicken Egg Rolls. They were nice and crispy. My cousin ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The chicken was hot and crispy. The sour sauce was sent in a separate container. Overall, the food was great! We will definitely order from this place next time!
First time to order.
I was at first upset about an hour wait for delivery, but!!!
When it came , and I tasted it!
OMG. I understand.
This is the best Chinese food I have had in a few years.
We only ordered crab puffs, egg rolls and happy family fried rice. BUT OMG
All the food was cooked to perfection!
FLAVORFUL, and balanced. Everything was delicious. We will definitely order again!
This is the best Asian food for take out. I used to live in the area and had it delivered once a week. I have since moved to tomball and nothing compares. I will make the drive to order from here.
This place is the closest Chinese place near us. The food is consistent. And it pretty good. The young ladies that work the front are pretty awesome. We feel we have watched the son of the owners grow up.
They are always pleasant and greet us when we come in.
I tend to have a combo plate with two separate main dishes a soup and an eggroll.the wife may have a main dish... Or often just a soup.
Everything I have tried has been good.
A bit out of the way of site from hwy6 but worth it to stop and eat or order from.
Omg my crab Rangoon was delicious and fresh and hot, the beef and shrimp fried rice was delicious and fresh as well. So happy I’ve been living around here for 3 years and finally this place is good and delicious!
I have been dining here/ getting takeout from here for about nine years. Watched all the kids grow up. Their food has been consistently good. My ONLY issue is that they never mark on their menu which items are vegetarian. I love that they will make me things not on the menu, like vegetable chow mein.
Best Chinese in this area! I agree that delivery took longer than expected considering how close they are to my house BUT SO WORTH THE WAIT! I had the General Tso's lunch with added broccoli and carrots (additional $1) and my husband had Sesame Chicken lunch with added chicken fried rice (additional $3). Both chicken's were fresh, moist and delicious. My husband's chicken fried rice was obviously freshly prepared and worth the extra charge. Even with the extras, our total was under $20, which is an amazing deal considering all the food we got (lunch comes with soup and egg roll). Definitely as good, possibly better than North China, which doesn't deliver and is MUCH more expensive. I would say it's even just as good as 888, which used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant when I lived in Southeast Houston. Fresh, delicious AND reasonably priced! Definitely my new go-to for Chinese!
I moved to this area a year ago from out of state where my Chinese place and I had a loving 5 year relationship. I tried more than 10 Chinese places before I found imperial Hunan. First time I went my husband and I dined in and found it's more a take out spot. We still got prompt, kind, great service. Why have fountain soda if 95% of your biz doesn't eat in? It's only $1 per soda anyway and the food is great. Awesome red curry and pad Thai too! Very friendly, family staff. And I'm really picky (sorry) but they've always been great with accommodations. Love this place.
Ordered pickup during Covid-19. WOW! Was I glad I found this place! Hands down the best Chinese cuisine I ever tried in Houston and Lordy, I have tried tons of places for authentic Chinese cuisine. I hope they managed to stay great for great many years to come.
Vegetables fried rice n broccoli chicken.
Really good..
I ordered to go and I was so surprised with the amount that came like I was expecting small portions but they gave me nice big ones. The food was really I good I recommend it. No but I was skeptic at first, but the food is amazing y’all should get the magnolia beef .
I am a Chinese and I have tried almost every Chinese restaurants on north of HWY 6 area because my office is on Hwy 6 and I 10. I think Imperial Hunan is the best based on quality, taste and price. I like them even better than the North China across the freeway. They use good quality ingredients. Their lunch special is only $5.55, it is the best way to try and see if you like them or not. I highly recommend them.
