This was my first time visiting and it was absolutely great. I ate my heart out and nothing was disappointing. I tried several different food items and they were all flavorful and delicious. I also had the Bow Wow. It was 32 oz of fun! It is a must try. I tried oysters for the first time in over 10 years. They were amazing! The server was fun and dealt with all of our craziness. There was music, dancing and great vibes all night. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
The service was totally awesome. Great hearing at the front. Our server Tina was really attentive and her recommendations were really good. All of the food was fresh and good. Don't miss the chargrilled oysters. They are cooked in front of you. The bow wow drink is strong and tasty. Will be back ASAP. Oh and the music was really good. Great atmosphere.
Came across Neyows Creole Cafe on Instagram! Was drawn immediately to pictures of the char-grilled oysters - they did not disappoint! Our server Sabrina G. was great she was very attentive, went over happy hour, brought sample sides since it was my firs time there and I was torn between a couple, confirmed order, evenly paced the meal, broke down the upcoming weekend brunch, gave suggestions of other food places to try since I’m new to HTX, and she also kept her mask on. The food was pretty good and I’ll definitely be back to try the drinks. Overall 7.5 out of 10.
Love at first bite.
Service was great thanks to Samantha.
Corn bread and charbroiled grill oysters was on point. Highly recommended drinks Specialty "Bow Wow" is a must.

I don’t usually give out Five Stars, but this place was amazing. The food is NOLA quality, everything we had was just delicious and our waitress Sabrina G was amazing she took very good care of us.
Our waitress, Tina Marie, was the absolute funniest waitress ever! The food was very authentic. I had the red beans and rice. My son ordered the grilled oysters. Both were fabulous!
My friend told me I absolutely HAD to try this place out, so I did and hunni I’m so happy I did!
The server (Smiley) was Amazing, she explained everything so well and was so patient with us while deciding. The Char grilled oysters were so yummy!
I order the pick 2 seafood combo with bbq shrimp and fried fish, Mac and cheese and carrot soufflé. My Boyfriend had the grilled pork chops with veggies and dressing.
The food tastes like Thanksgiving!!! The dressing is amazing! The fish was perfect! Dressing was amazing. (I said that huh) 😩😊The only thing I would have like better is if the bbq shrimp were more New Orleans style without actual bbq sauce but they were still yummy! I’ll be back again! The left overs didn’t make it till midnight!.
Neyow's was freakin delicious. I am currently laid out on the bed writing this about to go into a food coma after eating here. I got a New Orleans Punch Bowl and a Po boy. I kept it basic and Neyows served me with some more than basic taste. They should have cots to lay on after you eat cuz it is 'itis inducing food. I also had the charbroiled oysters, which for my first time eating oysters like this, was pretty tasty. Expect good food here and to leave nothing less than satisfied. The atmosphere and eats will make you feel like you're at a hip soulful social barbeque. No regrets about this place. It's awesome. It's awesome awesome! Go get you a plate.
The food is amazing. The carrot souffle was excellent, stuffed bell peppers awesome, and the chargrilled oysters to die for!!! I will be a repeat customer.
Dined on a Saturday night with a large group. Oysters were excellent. If you don’t mind peeling and getting your hands dirty the barbecue shrimp were delicious. Crawfish were well seasoned.Service was good as well.
Thought we would try out Houstons because New Orleans is so good. Same result. Great food. Service not like NOLA, but food made up for it. Also not as near as long a wait to get your table.
So I've been wanting to try Neyow's seen they came to Houston. Love creole food. I finally went this past Friday and the service and food was excellent. From the hostess at the door to the waiters. The whole ambiance nice and other people there eating were friendly. I ordered the charboiled oysters which were great but had too much seasoning on it for my liking. I also had the drink Bow Wow, and let me tell you baby, they say if you finished it. It comes in a big glass and is very strong. I sleep like a baby, when I made it home, lol. And is also why I ordered so much food because I had to soak up the liquor . I also had the bowel of Gumbo which was delicious but didn't really have a lot of the meat that was supposed to be in there. Now I went during happy hour so that may have made the difference because it was not a full portion. We had the $1 garlic bread which were good (typically taste nothing special). Lastly I had the breaded wings and they were good. I will definitely be back because I have more I want to try.
First time. Neyow's is operating on 25% capacity right now. They're offering a $2 mimosa special for the first 25 people/tables.(I'm not sure which) Our server was good however the rest of the experience wasn't what we expected. The drinks from the bar took more than 20 minutes however the mimosa took no time. The fried crab claws were miniature, the red beans had no flavor nor did the Shrimp creole. My pasta Bienville was sooo good though!! So was my sister's Pasta on the bayou!! Half of my party was ready to write off the restaurant. Que the manager doing a table visit. We told her our concerns and she promised to look into the issue. Michelle took care of the two meals that were not enjoyed. I'm definitely giving the place another chance!
