First time having lunch there with my Wife. She is a regular there. We order some crunchy spring rolls and pho noodle. Both dish turn out to be very delicious. I really enjoy the spring rolls and the pho noodle is not bad either. The broth for the pho was very good. Highly recommend if you in China Town or International District.

4 stars for the nem nuong and service!! The ladies who work there were so nice. And the nem nuong is the bomb dot com!!! We tried other dishes but didn’t think they were special. It was just okay. However, the nem nuong saved the day! We enjoyed it so much every time we came back here that was the only thing we got. Hopefully they improve the menu and give more love to other dishes, so people would come here more often. P/s: there were 4 nem nuong for 1 serving, not 3 like seen in the picture. It cost me around $8 for 4 pieces.

I personally love this place for one thing and one thing only: nem nuong cuon (grilled pork spring rolls). Why? You ask? Well Duhhhhhhhh they have the best dipping sauce for spring rolls hands down in Houston! I love spring rolls in general but these are my favorite. It’s savory, crunchy and refreshing all at the same time. The sauce makes it. You cannot eat the nem nuong without it. Just wouldn’t be the same. They have since changed the recipe slightly, but not a big a difference. And the rolls seems slightly smaller and thinner too. Still good nonetheless. They have since relocated to a new plaza but it’s okay. I’ll make the drive. It’s still in Bellaire, just further down towards 59. Never really dined in here b always ordered catering from them. I think that’s how they make majority of their business since almost every time I walk into pick up my orders, it’s always empty. Ooh and pro tip: you can order their nem nuong sauce (orange sauce) in a plastic pho container container for $8! Not too shabby. I usually pick one up whenever we’re having spring rolls at home!

The owner is so sweet every time we come to Bodard. She treats my daughters and I like we are hers, very attentive, soft spoken and caring. Little things as making sure my toddler has a cup of water when we leave the restaurant in this summer heat. The food is great, very popular item is Nem Cuon and you won’t wonder why once you try it! Totally recommend this place. 10/10!

They have shrimp spring rolls, a great alternative for non-pork consumers. Unique to their menu is the durian mung bean smoothie. The signature sauce is dead serious...

Went here to pick up 100 rolls of nem nuong for a birthday party. It was phenomenal and a big hit at the party! The rolls were very delicious and the sauce that goes with was the bomb. I definitely recommend ordering here for any party!

Nem Nuong Cuon!! This place. HANDS DOWN. The best Nem Nuong spring rolls in Houston. Their (orange) sauce that goes with the rolls is what keeps me coming back. Even without the spring rolls, their sauce goes good on everything. EVERYTHING! Even on plain white rice. The inside of the rolls have a crunchy fried egg roll shell and every bite, you get that crunch. Also one of the best parts of eating these rolls. Any time there's a pot luck involved, this my go to place to order their nem nuong cuon. It's kinda sad unfortunately, cause anytime I call for just their rolls, the lady on the phone always asks "do you want to order anything else?" And when I say no, they always have this sad tone and say "okay." I've noticed that their rolls are the only thing that keeps them thriving. Every time I come in to pick up my order, it's always dead. No one dining and so many pick up orders. Now I've never dined in before so I can't really say much about the other items. But what I can say is that their nem nuong cuon is what you want.

small local Vietnamese restaurant with quite a bit of variety. their popular our well known dish is their spring roll which is called "new nuong" it's your typical Vietnamese spring roll but with a tiny crunchy eggroll in the middle as well a different kind of meat served with a different type of dipping sauce than your typical fish sauce or peanut sauce. this sauce is served warm with some sort of egg mixture? can't really describe it but trust me should offer this as an appetizers. was really hungry and didn't take pictures since I've been here quite a few times but just recently got into Google reviews since the pandemic

My sister in-law told me here is where I can find the spring rolls I've been looking for. On the hunt for more locations though. This one was really good, but not the greatest. I've had better. Service was good and so was the price. Came here for the unique spring rolls until i saw the group course meal for $20. I thought why not!? It was delicious and affordable for all the food we got (small portions, but just enough). It included: lotus root salad with pork & shrimp, catfish in clay pot, sweet & sour soup, chicken wings (they are just salted, would be nice if drenched in a good flavored sauce) and a big bowl of rice. We ordered eggrolls as appetizer along with the spring rolls. I would definitely visit again.

I followed a glowing story by a Vietnamese food writer about the family style meal for two at Bodard Bistro. It lived up to the story. Lotus root salad, shrimp sweet and sour soup, crispy chicken wings, and a warming, spicy brown sauced catfish in clay pot, all accompanied by a fragrant big bowl of rice, made the meal. For $22.99 for the entire meal, plus tax and tip, it was incredibly reasonable.
