The best burgers in houston. Hands down. I travel 50 miles a week each way to have one of Leonards made-to-order double bacon cheese burgers. Its the way the bun is slightly toasted, the meat is seasoned, the fresh lettuce and tomatoe and onion that makes this the ultimate burger and definitely Houston's best kept secret....
Fast and fresh. The works are very polite and allow you to sample some things before you put it on your burger.

I grew up eating at the "Mom and Pop" burger places and I loved the homemade taste, the way the burger pattie stuck outside the BIG buns! Oh, and the fries, cut thick and fried just right!
The fast food places may serve their food fast to the paying customer but they'll never compare to that corner burger joint. Well, I had been looking and longing to find one of those little gems from long ago (I knew they still existed although a few and far, far apart) so one afternoon after a long day of work I did a Google search and what did I find?!?!?!

I jumped in my truck and headed right down, a mere :10 minutes from me! When I got there it was just like I remembered all those other places and I KNEW I was going to love the food and lo and behold, I DID! Everything just like back in those years before the fast food places and the rat race took off. I didn't get my cheeseburger combo in 1 minute, it took about :10-:15 but it was all well worth the wait, the burger freshly cooked to perfection, juicy, tasty and I had to hold it with both hands! The fries thick and hot with just the right amount of salt, pepper and ketchup, long cut and so delicious!!!
I've been there twice in one week and I will be going back for more and I'm bringing my family and friends there too!!! Come on, they've been here since the early 60's, they know how to fix them right!!
BTW, I was informed that they will soon be renovating the place, lights, paint, facade and more. In a few weeks this place is going to be the spot!
Everything is HOMEMADE. !!!!! Yes he may take his time but He's the only person cooking there; doing an Awesome job. The downhome taste speaks for itself. I refer Leonard's to all the Family Friends and Neighborhood.... The only thing missing is a longer shed and outdoor seating
Best burgers I've tasted thus far and trust me I've been around looking for some good homemade burgers! I won't be looking anymore. Very humbled sweet man makes EVERYTHING homemade, loved it.😊🍔❤️👌🏽
Leonard's is freaking awesome, period. If he gave you anything less than awesome, it was most likely due to a janky attitude you might have given him. But Leonard himself, the owner, the cook, the money man, is a one man stunner, and as much as you may wait (bout 15-20 mins), you're getting an absolute blast of excellence to masticate on. Fantastic
He takes his time. You can tell in the taste... Home made, not commercial! Best way is to call it in an you got 20min to get there. Fresh and hott! If I had another star I would give him 6....
As soon as I got here he was so nice and he does take his time to prepare good burgers I love that it is reasonable and taste fulfilling. I recommend this place to everybody I know
One of the best hamburger's in Houston hands down.. just have to wait because the owner has gotten a little old, but food is always fresh
