I've been coming here ever since I've heard about the place and it's so close from where I live. Everything on the menu is great as well as the service! I enjoy the fresh salads they serve and really especially the turkey burger. It's very well prepared but this is something that someone should call ahead to order unless you mind waiting a little longer than some of the other items they serve. But the wait is so worth it because of how tasty it is!
Thank you for providing excellent customer service and delicious food, that was delivered to my FIL and GIL. They loved it! Portions exceeded expectations. First time customers and will be back for more!

I normally DoorDash this to work for my lunch because it’s my new obsession, but we came here this afternoon to get out of the office. What a treat! It’s cute, quaint, the food is amazing and the service we got from Amanda was perfection. Everything was delightful & delicious! Looking forward to coming back next time! I had the curry chicken and my friend had jerk chicken. Both were spicy, but had a balanced blend of a lot of different flavors! Truly an authentic experience.

The most authentic experience I've had with Jamaican food in Houston to date. We ordered one fried chicken meal and an ox tail meal.
Chicken tasted well seasoned and was cut into small manageable sizes. It did not have that overpowering taste of MSG as most other places have. In fact, i can't say for sure if it had any MSG at all!
Had curried veggies on the side, and it was such an amazing preparation of veggies, I've not seen that in very many places, but it did not disappoint.
The Ox tail was also on-point. I'm not a fan of Ox tail, but tasted, it and was brought back to my childhood years when I used to taste only the gravy when it was cooked at home (i don't liek the texture of the meat), well done.
The restaurant seems like an old residence turned commercial. We ate outside on the porch, and it felt a lot like dining in Jamaica.
Our very efficient cashier did not miss a beat between taking our order, answering the phone, and serving those who came to pick up their call-in orders.
I'm definitely going back. It's about a 30-minute drive, but worth it, in my opinion.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the reggae playing in deh background. Service was great, very warm and welcoming.
It was my first time going. I'm from Trinidad so it was nice to have some good authentic food. I had the jerk chicken with cabbage and curry vegetables. It was real good and well seasoned. I tried the jerk chicken egg rolls and they were off that chain. I definitely recommend it

The food was delicious.The music was great.
My only issues not a complaint is the entry, which is made of rocks, which is not shoe friendly if you wear heels or wedges. In addition to a welcome, hello or just a smile from the cashier would have been nice.
Discovered this place doing door dash, so far this is my 3rd time as a customer here. Each time has been an experience, always great service especially from Amanda, who has always been helpful with recommendations and just an all around vibe. The staff even other customers are wonderful to talk to. Definitely recommend this place and look forward to future visits
This food will bring you back. Back to simpler times when grandma would make the best meal after being outside all day. This food brings back memories of home. It may not be southern soul food but so much soul goes into it!
I went in at the last minute, maybe 10 mins before closing. The customer service was still great (not like most places that get upset when last minute customers come in because they're in a hurry to clock out and go home). Amanda at the front was a pleasure to meet and very kind. I feel like we bonded discussing the food. Lol!!! The food was still fresh and plentiful. I ate from my plate for 2 days. I had the curry chicken which had me lickin my fingers MmKayy!! Even returned 2 days later for another plate.
I also tried both lemonades (they were out of the punch so I didnt get to try it). The lemonades were tasty. I love really strong, bold flavors so for my personal taste, it could have been a bit stronger in flavor.
And just to establish credibility.. I'm a working Chef in both the corporate and private sector so I know good food and give honest reviews. If you're thinkin about going... stop thinking and just go!!!
The food is very delicious & flavorful, I’ve tried a few different Caribbean food spots in Houston and by far this is the best #1.
I ordered their secret sandwich 🤫 lol & hand cut fries, & also my wife had the brown stewed chicken with cabbage & rice. 🔥🔥🤌🏾
My visit here was Astronomically smashing! Everything was very appealing, tasty, and the presentation was immaculate.
I heard so many good things about the food from family mem, acquaintances, social media. Since, I love to go on solo missions, I decided to give it a shot.
I was Not disappointed at all. I decided to go for the two protein, two sides plates, a drink, and dessert. I was very satisfied and full of joy after my visit. I will most definitely come back with my family.
One of my favorite Jamaican places in Houston. Oxtail, cabbage, rice and peas, beef patty, oxtail egg rolls, no matter what it is, it’s all amazing. Food is hot and fresh and the servers were very helpful.
Oxtail egg rolls were on point! And the sauce, mouthwatering! Brown stew chicken was really good too! At first, the Mac and cheese disappointed me, but the second time I came back, they let me try it again and it was MUCH better! And the oxtail cheesesteak, I would definitely get again! The drinks, I had acres shakers and ginger beer and that was very tasty!
The food was amazing. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The owner was very engaging with the customers. I will definitely return for the Stew Chicken w/Rice and peas.
We ordered the jerk chicken meal with rice and bean and cabbage. The plantains were great and the food was seasoned perfectly! We also ordered the meat patty’s and they were fantastic!

Came here for lunch on a whim and came back for dinner with purpose.
I ordered the Nuff Nuff Plate w/ Jerk Chicken, Fried Fish, Rice & Peas, Mac n Cheese, Plantains and Blue Lemonade.
I didn’t know what I was getting into when I took that first bite of jerk chicken. Smack💥Washed it down with the Blue Lemonade. Smack 💥Took a bite of Mac n Cheese. Smack💥I wanted to share but I just couldn’t. I could’ve saved half for later but present me took priority over future me.
After saying some prayers of thanks and taking a moment to contemplate what I just ate, I came back to get some food for my wife. This time I had my baby in tow so it was hard for me to carry everything. Ordered the same meal and probably made some staff wonder if they were seeing double 🥸After my food came out, Amanda didn’t hesitate to offer helping me carry my order to the car with a genuine smile. I knew the food was gonna be great but it was this little act of kindness that really sealed the deal for me.
The people who work here really care and it shows. You can taste it in the food and feel it when you walk in. I’m very thankful they’re in the neighborhood and will definitely be back to try more!🙏🏽
We came from Austin and the experience was worth the trip! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was delish! We had the fried fish plate and the oxtail cheesesteak and it did not disappoint! Will be coming back!
Great food ! Super busy prepare to wait ! Small inside and it was way to hot to be outside . Food was very good ! Well seasoned ! Tired several different options including the punch and the champagne soda thing lol 😂 the price wasn’t bad for the portion of food we got !
The customer service here was awesome & all good vibes. Amanda was up front to great us & help us understand how to order our food. She was so nice & gave good suggestions as well. This place has very good food. I ordered the curry shrimp with fried cabbage & curry veggies. My husband ordered the curry chicken with rice & peas , Mac & cheese. They come with plantains also & everything on our plates was delicious. This was both my husband & I first time eating Jamaican food we weren’t disappointed at all. I also bought some dessert the pecan cake & the biscoff cake & they were also delicious. We’re definitely going here again soon & often.
