Decatur has different in house chefs and creative dining menu each weekend (2 seatings dinner only on Sat and Sun). This is a review on the set dinner tasting menu crafted by Chef Evelyn who strives to balance exotic flavours in her cuisine: a wonderful evening made up of locally sourced food, presented by the chef in details before every course so we know where each component comes from and how is each prepared. Food is delicious and flavourful without any greasy, heavy touch. Communal table, family style dining experience is interesting. First time sharing plates with guests you don’t know, and the serving is not an even multiple of the guest counts. Luckily we have very civilised and considerate neighbors on both ends Everyone is mindful of others so we all have a fair portion.
Loved the dessert. Good coffee too. And an amazing instagram worthy wall. The staff were nice. The place was clean. I had the molten cake and donut holes and my friend had the cookie skillet and all tasted delicious.
Would definitely come again.
The desserts here are delicious! The salted caramel coffee is fantastic. I got it without chocolate. Still tasty! The display is well done and has a great atmosphere! The staff was super helpful!
This is a very cute and cozy cafe. They have unlimited desert options and they are all very delicious. Staff is extremely friendly.I strongly suggest you to try this awesome cafe. You have no option to leave this cafe unsatisfied.
First time here and based on the photos posted by other reviewers, this place did not disappoint. I was excited to come here since I have a huge sweet tooth. The place has a great feel to it and the display of their spread looks amazing. The two gentleman that help us out were awesome and accommodating!

Decadent is a perfect name for this little cafe. Never been more willing to enter a sugar coma than after trying the carrot cake and red velvet cheesecake. I opted for something “lighter” (haha) on my last visit, and a slice of lemon berry marscapone cake didn’t disappoint. Everything tastes just as good as it looks! I also love the extended hours on the weekends.
New to Houston and a red velvet cake lover. Went to Decadent to try their Red Velvet Cake and it was truly a phenomenal dessert experience. Here’s why...

Super cute place. Staff very friendly and attentive. We took awhile to figure out what we wanted because there is an INSANE amount of amazing deserts/treats but they were so patient with us. (Thank god people in Houston are so rude) Get the Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Latte. Will NOT disappoint.
What a great group! Everyone is ready to help you with what you need. I have tried a bunch of stuff and there are so many good options to choose from. I tried the breakfast sandwich and apple turnover with a coffee last and really liked it. It is good to have someone in the area who cares about good coffee.
Dessert-wise, you get exactly what you came for. Great, fattening, and filling-plus--a to-go box if you need it.
The decor is cheery too. The only room for improvement would be the slowish service and the entrance door slams behind every customer.
Cute little place. I came here during the week to just have a moment of quiet and finish reading a book. Delicious Nutella latte! I also got a piece of coconut cake and ended up having to ask for a to-do box because it was so huge! Would love to come back again.
Excellent coffee. We have been twice. Donuts were very good the first time and breakfast sandwiches also were great the second time we went. Highly recommend. Their deserts looked decadent!
