A Mexican restaurant with actual Mexican food. It was so good! And staff very friendly as well. And food came out fast.
Outstanding food and service. No nutritional information can be found though! If your tracking calories, You kinda have to compare to other restaurants or your food tracker.

Best place to go in the Charlotte area for Mexican food. Drinks are pretty good too! Always good service and a fun vibe.
Every time we go, the food is perfect, the waitstaff are friendly and personable. Even when we get takeout it’s excellent and the quality and care put into the food is still there. Most places give you less food if you order takeout from them as opposed to the portion they give you when you dine in, but La Unica isn’t like that - they give you the same exact amount of great quality food whether you dine in or order takeout. Best restaurant in Huntersville, hands down. Everything I’ve tried I 100% recommend. The No Name Dinner is my personal favorite.

Food was good and quick. We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress was attentive. The only thing I didn't care for was the host or manager told us we could not move the kids from our cramped table to a booth behind us after the dinner rush was over. It was 9pm and we were chatting after we ate, the kids were just wanting to watch videos and hang out a bit with each other.
My husband and I wanted to get a quick dinner in before welcoming baby number 8. So we decided to try La Unica since we haven't tried them yet....it looked like the parking lot was full so we thought we would have a little waiting time but got a table right away. The server automatically bring you chips and salsa which was so tasty.
We ended up ordering bean dip with cheese, steak and cheese burrito for me and a chimichanga for my husband. Everything tasted so fresh! The sliced lettuce for the first time at any restaurant wasn't soggy or watered down like other places. The service was great. Our waitress made sure we had everything needed. I highly recommend this place. Who doesn't like fresh authentic Mexican food!!!
