I tried this Mexican restaurant in California and ordered some to-go soup dishes, and they were absolutely delicious and generously portioned. The prices were reasonable, and what I really liked was that they offered late-hour availability for to-go orders, which was a big plus. Definitely a great spot for some tasty Mexican food!

I had the chimichanga and it was amazing! It came with rice, beans, guac and sour cream . Not to mention the tortilla chips they brought before the meal which were excellent also. My buddy had the Mexican pizza and he said that it was the best Mexican pizza he's ever had. So all in all it was a great experience and the waiter was super polite. There was not many people in the restaurant. It was very quiet and peaceful.

My boss brought me here once and we occasionally come after jobsite meetings. Their lengua tacos are huge and loaded with meat, their refried beans are very tasty. Recommend their chile relleno and crunchy tacos.

I had never eaten chilaquiles. My boss was adamant about this place, and said I should 100% try them here. He was not wrong. The food here is authentic and amazing. I'm glad I took his advice, and I will def be back.

Consistency is key. Casa Jimenez has stood the test of time in HB because of good Mexican staples, fair prices and great service. Mural art has a rustic feel, and typically no wait for seats. Can always catch a sports game, some tasty chips and salsa, and a cold cerveza when you visit this joint. Carnitas, Chile rellenos, and shrimp Diablo are on point and my goto's. Could have a bit stronger margaritas.

We go there because my wife loves their Chili Rellenos. I like lots of other things on the menu, especially getting oysters on the half shell in the same place.

Absolutely delicious meals. They definitely need to do something about the salsa they offer with chips. They did not taste that great. However, I had a molcajete and it was bomb. The micheladas were yummy. The service was excellent. They constantly kept an eye on our table, cleared plates, offered more of everything. Great little hole in the wall.

You feel like you're in Mexico. Staff is very friendly and owner is on site most of the time. Great food at good prices. You add your choices of hot sauces so not spicy if that's the way you like it. Love the interior decorations. My favorite place for Sunday breakfast.
