1st visit to this cute little Argentinian Steakhouse and was very impressed. To start the staff was all very friendly. Decided to try the Parrillada Tango which was an amazing array of meats, from steak to chicken to sweetbreads to Argentinian sausage, short ribs, beef kidney and morcilla. This came with a choice of 2 sides and we added sauté mushrooms & onions. Everything was done so well and just beyond flavorful. Ended with cappuccino amaretto and Chaja which was a cake with peaches, dulce de leche & meringue. This was light and tasty. We will definitely be returning.
Very good. Pictures are the dates wrapped with bacon, meat platter, and paella. Will be back!
Oh man!! I came for my daughter's birthday and we had a blast. When happy birthday was sang to her... the entire restaurant went quiet and speechless... Powerful voice!!! The food was great and drinks were awesome!
My biggest regret is that human language limits my ability to convey how wonderful this restaurant truly is. Excellent food at reasonable princes. Expect to pay 70 to 100 dollars per person (depending). With steak, seafood, pork, and chicken options, you are sure to find something for everyone. They have desserts that are simply to die for!
The food presentation is absolute art!
Very cozy and pleasant, the Restaurant was really warm inside which felt very comfortable considering the freezing weather outside. The waiters were incredible, very courteous and just lovely… The staff was full of smiles and high attention to detail. Now the food, the food was amazing. This could have been the best Calamari that I ever had and it was served with very fresh and juicy Lemon Wedges, simply to say it was just delightful… The steak was also very delicious, the Mushroom sauce really hit the spot. My kids enjoyed their Pastas as well. This Steakhouse is 10/10, it deserves 6 Stars to be honest.
Great food and service from Daniel. The server / bartender took the time to explain and help us with our questions because it was our first time. Drinks were also amazing I had the sangria and my friend had the espresso martini. Will be back 10/10.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sur, an exquisite Argentine restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly made me feel at home. The combination of cozy lighting, rustic decor, and comfortable seating created an ambiance that was both relaxing and charming.
What truly set Sur apart was the exceptional authenticity of their Argentine cuisine. Each dish was a culinary delight, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The flavors and aromas transported me to the streets of Buenos Aires, where I could almost hear the sizzle of succulent meats on the grill and taste the tangy chimichurri sauce. The menu boasted a wide variety of traditional Argentine dishes, from mouthwatering empanadas to tender asado and delectable milanesas. Each bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs at Sur.
Accompanying the extraordinary cuisine were the superb drinks on offer. Their sangria was so good we had to order it twice.
While the atmosphere and cuisine were exceptional, what truly made my visit to Sur stand out were the servers. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest. Their warm smiles, friendly demeanor, and prompt service elevated the overall ambiance of the restaurant and made me feel like a valued patron. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile exemplified the highest standards of hospitality.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Sur to anyone seeking an authentic Argentine dining experience. From the homely atmosphere and mouthwatering cuisine to the superb drinks and exceptional service, Sur truly excels in every aspect. Whether you are a connoisseur of Argentine cuisine or simply looking for a memorable night out, Sur is the perfect destination. I extend my sincere thanks to the entire Sur team for a delightful evening that will linger in my memory for years to come.
Thank you, Sur, for providing such an outstanding culinary experience!
Easy to see right off of New York Avenue servicing Huntington Village and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Parking on the street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Clean facilities. No wheelchair accessible entrance. Grilled meats are the star. The Salmon and Panko Chicken are great too. Tres leches cake for dessert is a must. Our server Max was excellent. Juan the owner was very friendly and Hospitable. We will definitely be going back.
I had a nice experience at Sur. I particularly liked the guy who signs Happy Birthday! He is vibrant and fun.
Much better than the last time. Our sever went above and beyond to provide great service And he make sure nothing was wrong with our Dinner the sangria it’s a must have at this location please do if you’re over 21 yr Old.
thank you. We will definitely come back. Soon
Went for a last minute dinner on a Saturday night and its easily the best bet for a great meal with a lovely atmosphere. The food is exceptional and the service and entire staff was top notch. Easy recommendation from me..
I had a great time, I ordered the parrillada del sur for 2. The amount of meat they give you leaves you with leftovers for the next day. I LOVED how flavorful and juicy the meat was. I also ordered sauteed onions. Mushrooms. A salad and mashed potatoes.
The atmosphere was great, a lot of people were there dining in so that’s a good sign that the place is popular and worth your penny.
UNFORTUNATELY, WHEN IT CAME TO THE DRINKS I WAS DISAPPOINTED! I ordered a virgin mojito since I can’t drink alcohol for health reasons. The waitress looked at me foolishly and even asked if i was SURE that i wanted that drink because it tastes like lemonade. When i got my drink, it did taste like lemonade which clearly shows that they DON’T KNOW HOW TO MAKE VIRGIN MOJITOS! I’ve gone to many other restaurants that made BANGING VIRGIN MOJITOS!
My suggestion to this business is to be open minded to your diners and be a bit sensitive, don’t make them feel bad for their drink choices without knowing their reasons. Learn how to make a virgin drink!
My friend's Birthday Dinner. Food was good. Service was even better. My friend, who loves Argentinian food, said it was good too! This was our first experience. Pix attached of shell steak, chicken provolone and shrimp cammarone (not sure of the name...) The chicken dish was fried, which I didn't realize when I ordered it...but it was definitely tasty!!
Hands down my favorite steakhouse in the area. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very attentive. I order from them at minimum at least twice a month. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for some savory steaks accompanied by a fantastic sangria!
My family and I received excellent service and such a delicious meal. We ordered a parrillada grill platter that was cooked to perfection. This place is a must, 5 stars!
Our server was really nice. We had a great time. Steak was very delicious!
