Ordered a chicken parm hero to go from here and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. This place doesn't just serve curry! The hero was made fresh with a toasted sesame seed hero. It was filled generously with tomato sauce, seasoned chicken, and extremely stingy cheese. Surprisingly, the chicken was not dry, the sauce flavorful, and had chunks of tomatoes. Originally I had thought of eating only half, as it was a lot of food, but I just couldn't stop eating. Needless to say, I am regreting my moment of gluttony. I'd definitely come back to try other things as this place serves other items that looked good.

Good pizza place, cheap with lots of chooises Guy who works there is very nice, one of the reasons I go They have pies for super cheap, makes you think about you lunch chooises because how much bang for your buck you can get there. Plus the have odd things on the menu like chicken curry. Its good great for a pizza place Used to have better drink selection No beer or wine No bar

This food is all about comfort. The sauces are rich and the dishes are fresh. The samosas are cooked to a golden crispness, and the stuffing is delicious. If you are looking for a meal that will make you feel good in your bones- maybe you need something to lift your spirits, then order from Curry Express.

It’s pretty good food but my orders arent always exactly accurate? The last two times I’ve ordered something chicken based they’ve been made with lamb even though the menu explicitly says chicken. Good thing I’m okay with lamb. And yes, I’m very sure it’s lamb and not chicken.

We love Indian food and this place has the best tasting Indian food for a great price. Yes, the place does look unkept but the appearance does not reflect on the quality of food. The falafel sandwich is amazing!!!

I’ve loved Indian food ever since I lived in London back in the 80s. I seek it out wherever I go, cook it at home frequently, and have an idea of what it’s supposed to taste like. Recently, I tried this no-frills take-away place for the first time and I was very pleasantly surprised to find the Bhel poori on the menu. This salad of delightfully spicy, crunchy puffed cereals, plus tomatoes and potatoes. and mint/cilantro & yogurt sauces was excellent. Bhel poori is hard to get in most Indian places on LI, so I’m thrilled to find it Iso handy. I also had a ‘samosa chat’, another similar salad but with chickpeas and it was very good. As well as the Indian vegetarian dishes I love, Curry Express also has some meat classics. My husband’s butter chicken was excellent, with beautifully tender chicken and a mild tomato based curry sauce. I look forward to trying some of the goat curries. I’ll be going back frequently.
