I will start this out stating we might of had preferential treatment due to my company. We had dinner in Cedar Pipe Cellar with a group of 11. It had an awesome ambiance to it. The staff was friendly and on top of their game. They let us enjoy our own company while being accommodating. Never a empty glass. Their take on a caesar salad was on point. Char lettuce with a fantastic dressing. Yummy!! I had the redfish with okra which was moist and light. Paired perfectly with the white wine I had. I would definitely recommend. An enjoyable night and so glad we were able to get in with our party.
Cotton Row is a great spot for a little upscale fare. My expectations were met for our two entrees, sea bass and scallops with risotto. But my expectations are high based on similar dishes from larger metros (i.e. DC, Denver, LA). Fried Green tomatoes are tasty homage to our local flavor. Great job. I will be back to experience more.
The food and atmosphere has never changed at Cotton Row, and that isn't a bad thing. The food is rich and warm. The service is friendly and prompt. The braised short rib is always a good staple, prepared excellent.
Best scallops I’ve ever had! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and staff were all 10/10. Great spot for special occasions.
I was blown away by Cotton Row. Living in Huntsville, I've probably walked past this restaurant more times than I can count. We decided to try it out for our anniversary. Our table was ready before we even parked the car, we got a text saying we could be seated as soon as we arrived. My husband got an old fashioned to start and was impressed with the quality. We did the fried green tomatoes as the app. They were the perfect balance of salty, sweet, crisp, and soft. The red pepper crema was an excellent compliment. I ordered the filet and my husband ordered the ribeye. They were both cooked to perfection! I can't speak to the flavor of his, but he seemed happy. Mine came with a side of black truffle Mac and cheese and it was probably the best I've ever had! We finished with the creme brulee and it was the perfect end to a meal. We sat outside and were lucky enough to be able to enjoy live music while dining.
Cotton Row has a warm and inviting ambiance. The food is well prepared and satisfying. We have had varying levels of service but no one has ever been horrible; just some are not as attentive as you might expect this price point of restaurant to have. I would still recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be in downtown Huntsville.
This place was really crowded on Wednesday night. Our server was very busy but professional. The receptionist was nice too.
The food were delicious but some of them could have been better. The truffle fries was good as a normal french fries but didn’t taste like truffles, the lobster tail was way too small for the price, and the crème brûlée was a little too sweet.
