Was here for lunch today. The Grande burrito was awesome. I highly recommend this place. Pricing was fair and food was good quality.

I feel like I have been raised in this restaurant as I have been going there my whole life. it's run by some of my favorite locals and their food is literally to die for.
If you're in Huntsville for more than 48 hours & don't hit up Bandito at least once: What are you even doing here? The Green Bean Burrito, the No Carne Burrito, the Super (Veggie & otherwise) Nachos & even the humble Soft Taco are not to be missed. And the beans...the beans...only El Palacio (RIP) did beans better (and just barely.) An institution for a reason.
I've been going by here for a while going to visit my Granddaughter. We live in Decatur but wouldn't hesitate to drive over for a delicious burrito. The Smoked Chicken is fantastic.

Carefree vibes with a laid back atmosphere... Excellent food! We tried it for the first time yesterday and I am already craving it again. Over the mountain I go for another "green bean burrito!"
Had our first dinner at the Governor's Drive location. I had the street tacos and my daughter had the taco burger. Both were delicious and disappeared quickly. Location is small, but the people were super friendly, food was served quickly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Looking forward to our next dinner.

Great service. Food is consistently great. Have to get at least one green bean burrito (green sauce on a bean burrito). Fun atmosphere eating there and the to-go is also great. Highly recommend! …to also have Tums.
It was my husband and my first visit and we was more than impressed. We had been told their salsa is the best around and we agree! The Mexican food was authentic but with a flair. Definitely not a chain restaurant. Loved the unique details in decor choices and menu. (A picture of Ice Cube on the ice dispenser!)
Been visiting this place since 1995 when I was a student at UAH. The food is always great and served fast. Its cool when longtime staff leave for years and then come back like they never left. No other restaurant in Huntsville has matched or can match the consistency and longevity as Bandito. NONE! That's gotta tell ya something.
Great local spot right across the street from campus 805. We wanted some quick and inexpensive food that was still really tasty and somewhat healthy. This place hit all those! Burritos were large, delicious, and lots of flavor. We will be back!

I've been working in Huntsville for over 30 years, and have never eaten here until last night. Shame on me!
This place is really good. Definitely not fancy, but I think that's the point. Friendly people running the place, good service, and the food is at least as good as any of the other tex-mex restaurants in the area.
My order arrived quickly, the food was hot, and it tasted great.
While it wasn't crowded (around 7:30 pm), there was a steady stream of customers, dine in and take out, while I was there. This place obviously has a loyal following.
I'll be back!
Awesome staff and the best quick Mexican food in town! Favorite things on the menu are the bean burritos, pork tamales and the super nachos.
