What makes this franchise restaurant is not only the food but the staff and manager. Great tasting burgers, fries and more! The manager visits your table to make sure everything is in order. Great staff, food and cleanliness. You will not be disappointed!
Some colleagues and I decided on American Burger for lunch while in the Indian Trail area today. I was admiring the graphic they had on the menu for the RoadStar Burger. I thought I could do it and get the free t-shirt if I finished. Well, I earned my free shirt � The burger was a very juicy and tasty burger with great flavor!!! One of the best I've had!! I'd actually do it again (just not tonight)!

Great food, great environment and fast service. Could use more seating or at least tent the outdoor area for cold or rainy weather for seating.

You gotta try the "rise n shine" burger, fried egg on a sandwich sounds disgusting but it's actually really good! & Great customer service!
We dropped in to grab a fast lunch on Saturday at American Burger Co. I ordered the fried chicken teriyaki sandwich with fries and my husband had the fried egg burger with tater tots. Both were delicious! They also participate in Doordash! Stop in and grab a bite, you won't be disappointed!
I took my 2 sons here before our movie and we enjoyed some of the best burgers and hotdogs we have had in a long time. It was really delicious. They cook the burger fresh so it wasn’t super fast but not too long of a wait.

Mike the manager was so nice and helpful. Pictured is a custom salad with walnuts, feta, cucumber, mushrooms, burger, tater tots, jalapenos, spring mix, and balasmic vingerette. Delicious! I sat outside by the fountain in front of the Sun Valley 14 movie theater. We went there last night and had a delicious Burger! The one I chose was to build my own. I was a little more decadent than usual as I'm always eating very lean. I had mine with a quarter of pretzel bread, cheve cheese, mojo sauce, mushrooms, lettuce, and tomato. Don't forget the Gulden's mustard. Thanks Hunter who helped us with our order. Cheers, Nicole Rorie
I love this place! Great burgers and the best sweet potato fries... Very reasonably priced. Staff always has a great attitude.
Nice atmosphere. Family friendly. Clean. I had a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and pickles. It was delicious. The burger was cooked to perfection and was not too sloppy. I also had tater tots...sooo good. And unsweetened tea to drink; which was great! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Plenty of TV up around the room for your viewing pleasure. It's in a perfect location to catch a movie before or after dinner.
The service was great and the hot mess burger was indeed a hot mess. The small draft beer selection was great, especially with a couple of high quality local brews. The medium rare burger was delicious, topped with top choice ingredients. I got a side of onion rings which were perfect. A great place to eat before, or after a movie at the theater next door.
