Love this place...Love the food...the fried pickles are amazing....however this location downtown is not convenient....unless ur a millenial who doesn't have a car then it's perfect.....parking is awful...really...ride a bike or walk there...or ride share I guess.....there is a Stacked Pickle in Plainfield now...will drive out there next time.
Nice sports bar on the corner of Indiana Ave & 10th street! It's a little crazy in 5 pm rush hour but there is parking in the back if your going east go one street past Indiana Ave take left then quick left park in back!!!Nice friendly & quick with service, they have great food!
Good place to grab a drink and some grub. Our server was friendly and the food was good came pretty quick. Enjoyed my fish and chips and fried pickles- wish we could do a half order of that? I feel it was a pretty big serving, although good for the price and to share with a big group (was just my friend and I, we couldn't finish it).
Fresh off a plane from Denver we were hungry and had just decided to walk to find something to eat. My husband had stopped at the same establishment a year prior and had nothing but great things to say. The ladies were very professional and food came out quick. My husband ordered the Texas tenderloin and I had the hangover burger. Both were outstanding but I what I really wanted to point out was the egg on my hangover burger was the most beautiful thing ever! It was perfect! Not over fried and not runny. The egg looked like it was from a toy kitchen. Amazing food and amazing staff. We'll be back!
Had lunch with a friend. I was expecting a high priced but sub-par experience. What I got was fairly priced food and a laid back and chill atmosphere. The waitress was nice. The food was very good. I had the pickle burger, wings, and fries combo. My friend had the blackened chicken pasta. It was too much for her to eat 😂. The vibes were awesome. Nice place to meet someone and talk and get full without breaking the bank
This is a pretty nice place. I've had mixed results with wait staff. Tuesday night karaoke gets lit- I definitely recommend going then! They have some great daily drink specials and are a good all-ages place. I wish they had more clarity on vegetarian and vegan options though, I normally just stick to fries to be safe.
Fish tacos on Tuesday! Excellent choice for two reasons:
The dish is wonderful and it's almost TOO much food for a VERY reasonable/ affordable price!
It was my first time in my life that I've ever tried fish tacos and was well worth the wait!
The service and staff alone was worth a visit to this location! My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner after being in Riley hospital with our child. We were in a somber, exhausted and not a very joyful mood upon arriving but felt revived and in a much happier mindset when leaving as a result of the fun and upbeat members of staff.
This was my first experience dining at Stacked Pickle, although not my husband's. I am looking forward to visiting again!
Sit at the table on the far side right next to the back door about 10 ft from the corner of the bar. And you will witness a target-rich environment.
Came here with a fairly big group (about 20) and were very well accommodated. The servers were very attentive and really took care of us, even allowed multiple split checks. There's a full bar with a decent selection of beer and hard liquor and the food was solid pub food. As always, strongly recommend the fried pickles and the wings, which had a wide variety of tasty sauces to please all tastes, yay!
My very first experience with this restaurant was very bad, food wasn’t good and I was left upset and swearing I’d never go back. BUT I was contacted by the owner and he took the time to listen to my problems and replaced my meal completely free without issue when I was ready to re-order! The manager was completely understanding as well, apologizing multiple times and even gave us FREE desserts to re-apologize and address the issue. Sometimes first experiences can be a let down, but they really redeemed themselves. And while I may not make this my go to restaurant, I definitely would stop by again. Thanks John and Ronnie!!
Kellie and Crystal are absolutely incredible. The best of the best at their craft. Would recommend over and over again to any and everyone. Went back every night we were in town because of the great service and atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic.
We go about every week for trivia on Wednesday. We have yet to get food that wasn't right and have always had great service. The bathrooms were clean and they gave us a parking pass for the garage. The menu is mostly pub grub-burgers, wraps, flatbread pizza, wings. The waitstaff has worked with me to make food to order (subbing grilled chicken for fried, different sauce). They are also willing to change channels so you can catch a game.
I've visited the IUPUI Stacked Pickle only twice. The first time I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The hamburger was a bit overcooked, but that was my fault. I ordered it medium well when I should've ordered it medium.
On my second visit, only yesterday, I ordered the fish and chips with a tap Bud Light. Granted, the Bud Light was $4.25 and I could get a six pack for under $7 right up the street, but the meal was exquisite. The fish tasted like a rainbow flowing through sun rays when there's not a cloud in the sky. Okay, I don't know what that tastes like, but I think you get the picture. The fries are to live for. They'd make an entree of jet engine parts slathered in opossum guts taste great.
I live close enough to The Stacked Pickle to walk there in 12 foot snow drifts. I would do so happily.
