It was our first visit to Indianapolis and we decided to come here. I liked the atmosphere there. I ordered a large seafood platter and it was delicious. I also ordered breaded onions and French fries (we couldn't eat them because the seafood plate was more interesting) This plate is enough for two people! (or maybe three, we were just very hungry). The waitress was polite and nice! The chef cooks very tasty. I recommend this place❤️

I visited with four of my friends, and we had a fantastic time together. We ordered shrimp and mussels, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, and I’d like to give a shoutout to Kelly for her outstanding service. Highly recommended!
Tried the Special. Really good, big portion, and flavorful! Chicken Wings seasoned and fried to perfection. Drinks were tasty also! Will be back very soon!!
If you guys have time to stop by I recommend this spot 100 percent!!!

Crab 99 is my favorite seafood boil place in Indianapolis! The food is always hot and fresh with great portion sizes. Their sauce isn't oily its super flavorful. Not only is the seafood Good their Cajun Chicken wings are the bomb! Their staff is super friendly and always engaging with our children. If your looking for a great quality to restaurant this is the place to go!
Garlic butter sauce. WOW!! Say no more!! My daughter said she could drink it, was so good. We had 3 orders of snow crab all with garlic butter. Crab was amazing. Perfectly cooked large pieces of crab. Even the knuckle meat was delicious. The potatoes and corn were drenched in garlic butter was also very good. Highly recommend. Husband had shrimp po boy. Also very good. Stopped randomly while passing through on our way home from down south. Ebony was our server. She was lovely and attentive. Prices were as expected.
This is such an amazing place. We went here after watching Pacers vs. Warriors and also to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Their staff is really nice and very friendly. I asked if they could bring out a dessert to surprise my friend and they did with the same excitement as us!
Their food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. I love their GARLIC BUTTER! This place is definitely a must try. We will be back for my birthday!
The facility is clean. Downside is that the bathroom is downstairs so it’s not really handicap friendly. OVERALL AMAZING!

Great tasting food. The crab was delicious if you wanted to spend a bit of money for quality food. Was my 5th year anniversary, so we wanted something nice for dinner. Got a seafood combo with snow crab and shrimp in garlic butter with medium spice, while my partner gor the shrimp po boy sandwich. We also got hush puppies and calamari for appetizers; everything tasted great. The medium spice is just right for someone who likes to feel a tingle of spice with no pain. We couldn't finish all our food and brought it home. Definitely save the butter and juices from the boil and use on other dishes you're going to cook for the next day or two.
This place is a complete vibe! I always get the king crab legs they come split & meaty so you don’t have to tussle with cracking them open! Not really a fan of the shrimp. The sauce for sure is phenomenal. I recommend the boiling sauce. It’s a bit pricey but for sure worth it!
Stopped at this place for a quick drink, the server at the bar was super nice and attentive. The food smelled really good but we already had plans for lunch. Next time will have to try this out. Overall great atmosphere, music and drinks.
THE BEST STEAMED SEAFOOD I HAVE EVER HAD IN THE MIDWEST!!! I am glad I tied it, I will definitely be back to enjoy the Dungeness crabs in addition to the large portions giving me left overs for later.

Anyone that I know that likes restaurants like this one, I always send them here! Best one I have had. There is so much passion in this business. They deserves the business!
FIRE!!!! So good! My family and I were visiting from out of town and we will be returning, perhaps just for this food! I got the 1 LB of snow crab legs with the spicy garlic butter and it was delicious. 🤤🤤 We also really liked that we were provided with gloves and bibs so we were really able to dig in!
One of the best seafood boils I’ve been to! The restaurant is located just off the round monument circle. After entering the doors, you walk downstairs to find a cheek establishment and greeted by a cute crab 🦀. Our waitress was very attentive, professional and had a great personality. It made our first time experience exceptional! We had the super seafood combo boil, calamari basket & a few sushi rolls for our group of 7 adults & had plenty of leftovers. Sooooo good. I don’t know what sauce they use but we called it amazing sauce. 😂 everything we had was amazing! They let you substitute some of the options to suit your appetite. We opted for more shrimp vs muscles. They also give you the right utensils for eating too, a bib and gloves were perfect! And I would recommend you use them so you don’t hold back from enjoying such yummy food 😂This is a must stop if you are in Indiana! ❤️
