I was SHOCKED by the number of craft coffee choices in Indianapolis but after carefully looking at photos I decided on Provider Coffee during my travels.
Wow, wow, wow!!
I live in Colorado, which has incredible coffee shops, but the latte I had here might just top all other places I’ve tried around the US. It was unique and full of flavor. The syrups are different here and include more than the basics.
The space is beautiful and there is plenty of outdoor seating!
Smooth creamy coffee! Really good 🤤 and gluten free options for those who are snackish. Really cool spot
Was directly across from our Airbnb so wanted to try it out. Very upscale and hip place to have a cup of coffee and/or breakfast. A lounge/bar at night - hubs saw a whiskey still in there. Great to come and just hangout and work if you don't mind paying a little extra for a fancy cup of coffee. Hubs got the Ginger latte which I enjoyed more than him. I thought my matcha latte was supposed to have everything a ginger latte had but it was just a regular matcha latte but still good. The ham and cheese croissant didn't seem super fresh out the oven which was a bit disappointing (8:30 am). Bacon and sausage egg bagels were good. Not exceptional for the price I'm paying. Great vibe and atmosphere.
We had our baby with us and people were nice about it (thankfully she wasn't too fussy lol)
Oh oh! Indiana never surprises with casual and happening coffee shops. Provider coffee is located in the same building as Tinker Coffee. Beautiful outdoor setup for warmer weather days and similar menu as Coat check coffee located in Indiana downtown. The chocolate brownie paired with the house drip coffee was bomb! The pistachio latte had a wonderful, vibrant combo of pistachio and lemon which was heaven with every sip.
Good place to work or just casually hang out with friends, ample parking space and quite close to downtown but not within to face any parking challenges. Will definitely be back!
Overpriced coffee—no space for sitting, found 1 countertop to sit. Overall, the latte tasted good. The place could be cleaner. The space felt so tight.
They have some interesting creative selections of latte (the pistachio one is my favorite), the baristas seem to take pride in their latte art which I appreciate. The place has a hipster vibe. Prices are on the high side. Good place to meet socially but not the place to pull out your laptop and study/work.
Chic cafe-cum-cocktail bar serving Certain Feelings coffee (same ownership/restaurant group) and a simple but satisfying menu of modern, light breakfast items. The "San Diego" single origin (natural process, Costa Rica) was impressive on both espresso & drip, though the latter took some time to grow on me. Intimate and well-planted indoor space with a large outdoor patio.
Provider, Coat Check Coffee, and Landlocked Baking Co (all under the same ownership) have been some of our favorite coffee shops in the city since we’ve moved downtown. We love that Provider has been able to stay open during this difficult time. They now offer curbside pickup with online ordering, and they’ve re-arranged the interior so that ordering in-person is safe and appropriately socially distanced. They continue to have some of my favorite lattes in town, including the pistachio and the mocha lattes. If you haven’t been here in awhile, you’ll find a big change on the interior but the same delicately made, beautifully tasty coffees and friendly faces.
I've been going here for the last past month for the gorditos tacos on the truck behind the Tinker house building. Best tacos I've ever had off of a food truck ,every bike makes me think I'm on Venice Beach.
The bartender is very nice, and she's pretty double bonus! 😍 😎

Provider Coffee in downtown Indianapolis is a hidden gem, and their butterscotch latte is a true masterpiece and nothing short of a flavor revelation. The blend of butter, piloncillo, and orange creates a harmonious flavor profile that sets it apart. Using Coffees from Coat Check Coffee and Dandy Breeze Milk adds a touch of sophistication to this already impressive drink. The baristas at Provider Coffee are true artists, as evidenced by the masterful latte art that graces every cup.
Provider had hands down the best food and coffee I've ever had from a coffee shop.
I had the pistachio latte, and my wife had the iced coffee. The flavors they use are all homemade and it shows. My latte tasted so much better than anything you'll taste with monin syrups. The iced coffee was perfect, and I normally don't like black coffee.
The food was fantastic. Yes, expensive, but you can tell the ingredients are super high quality, so it makes sense. The yogurt and Granola was just the right amount of sweet, and they didn't skimp at all on the Granola or nuts. The burrito was so flavorful. I couldn't find hot sauce, but it was not needed at all. The muffin we bought was very tasty as well!
Good coffee and fast service. The Pesto Bialy sandwich is tasty but very messy to eat. The Butterscotch Latte is delicious.
Got their seasonal beverage, which was delicious and it’s always so cozy and chill.
Favorite coffee in Indianapolis. Awesome staff. The best.
But please, please bring back the pastries 🙏.
The coffee was incredible! Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work the whole time we were there - and it was around 10:00 on a Monday
morning. It was also more expensive than I expected, which is okay…but it feels like for that price I should be able to get on the internet.
Great little space, loved the pollinator gardens outside. Really enjoyed the butterscotch and pistachio lattes, they’re two classics that I’ll always detour to get from one of the Provider related shops when I’m passing through Indianapolis.
I love trying local coffee shops anytime I'm in a new area.. the butterscotch latte here is the best hot latte I've EVER had. Next time I'm here I'm ordering 2 😅
