If you love great beer, and especially IPA's, in a historical structure with character, this is YOUR place. Worth the 1/2 mile walk from my hotel, and a great place to gather with friends for terrific beer at great pricing.

Nice selection of regional craft brews on the second floor of the Indianapolis City Market. Very friendly service. You can take the beer out of the immediate bar area to one of the other upstairs seats so you can enjoy dining with your family is anyone is underage.

Tomlinson Tap Room is the best spot for Indiana beer and wine. Matt the bartender is very friendly and has superior knowledge of each specific beer and can find a craft beer for even the most finicky drinkers. Ben, the bar manager always has the best beers from Indiana's top breweries rolling in and keeps the tap list fresh with beers from Lagers to Sours. The taproom itself is in an Indianapolis landmark, the City Market. Very welcoming and warm, highly recommended.

Tomlinson Tap Room is a craft beer spot inside the old city market in downtown Indy. It's on the second floor with bar seating and plenty of tables nearby to look down on the market on the first floor. Although their beer list is impressive, I'm not a beer guy so I opted for a local sour ale and was impressed. Their drinks are on point. What is not on point is their food. I ordered a cheese and break dish and it was not very good at all. Not the worst, but below meh. Regardless, this spot is GREAT for a happy hour after work or a break from shopping in the market.

Fantastic taproom on the mezanine of the historic City Market. They curate very interesting and eclectic selections of Indiana craft beer. The bartenders are among the friendliest and most knowledgeable in the city. Don't miss this local gem.

One of the best places for beer in Indy! They exclusively carry Indiana brewed beer and somehow get some of the best limited brews on tap. Friendly staff, great prices, and a fantastic location. Highly recommended!

Tomlinson Tap is the best place to find a phenomenal selection of Indiana Beers at very reasonable prices. The bar usually caters to the lunch and after-work crowd and closes at 9pm each evening. The rotating tap usually hosts many sought after Three Floyds, Sun King, Upland, Bare Hands and Black Acre beers. The bartenders are also incredibly knowledgeable and are happy to shoot the bull with you or answer any question about the beers.

I love the market for lunch and sometimes a cold beer is a great way to wrap up the week. This place is up in the balcony of the market and has a great bar and a few tables for enjoying a unique brew with you meal. They have a rotating list of beers on tap in 9oz, 13oz, and pints. Prices are reasonable. Be sure to watch for beer arrivals because some beers, like Three Floyd's Zombie Dust, tap out quick.

Hidden gem of an open bar on the second floor of the market. Really enjoyed the local beers and excellent suggestions by the bartender. Trust google maps and go in the building. There is no sign outside. Also, this is not the taproom connected to Whole Foods next door, which does have a street level sign.

Terrific, laid-back bar upstairs in the city's historic market. It was very quiet on a Saturday afternoon when we visited, as most of the other vendors in the market were closed for the day. Excellent selection of craft and local beers.

Hidden gem. Great beer selection (Westy from Bare Hands Brewery was a pleasant surprise). Didn't try the food, but nice place to grab a beer.

Monday and Tuesdays are draft specials. I love this place. Inside the market downtown, plenty of spaced out seating and seating at the bar with TVs. Great for couples or large groups.
