I cannot recommend this place enough. First of all, they serve tinker coffee and it is incredible. They also offer beer and wine. When i was there, there were couples on dates, students studying, and friends getting together. Great place for several things. The ping pong idea is so fun, but I'd also just go for the coffee and atmosphere. They also have some board games for a different type of game.
Fun ping pong place with excellent barista's serving up coffee and teas. As well as chill hangout loft space. Wine and beer bar to watch the game. Quite laptop areas and conference room available too.
The staff was super friendly. I had a cold brew which tasted delicious. Even though ping pong doesn't typically start till 12, they let us play. Played ping pong for an hour and a half for 10$. Good price and lots of fun. There is an area above the ping pong area where you can sit and watch people playing. Also some sound proof rooms in case you wish to grab your coffee and sit in silence.
Ping pong, coffee, beer on tap, what more do you need. Great staff, the place is clean, coffee is good too. Played a little ping pong with son, fun, something different.
There aren't many coffee shop/beer/wine shops in Indy that are open up late right now, but thankfully this spot is. There is a small lot to park in, plus ample spots to park on the street surrounding. Plus they have a great spin on the coffee shop / bar theme which includes ping pong. This place has a cozy atmosphere that you can go and just chill with your friends with a drink if you're not in the mood for ping pong. Great spot!
So much fun.
Only $10 for all day ping pong and they also have great espresso. I went by myself and I found someone else to play with, next time I'll bring some friends. It's like a really nice dorm rec room.
Fun tt in Indy. Nice tables. Nice venue. Never crowded in the afternoon. Great snowy or rainy day activity.
I went on a slow night and had a blast, but I wish it was a little less expensive. Plenty of ping pong tables were open, and my friend and I ended up playing doubles with other patrons. Beer selection was solid—something for every palette. Overall, fun experience, but not somewhere I’d go every weekend
This place is really cool. Definitely a good place to go to hang out or for a quick/casual meeting. The coffee is really good - I didn't get anything to eat so can't speak on that. The design of the space was really well done. It's a pretty unique place with the pingpong tables - however if you're not playing pingpong and people come in to play, don't expect to be able to concentrate/study/talk to people!
Top Notch! Great place to hangout and drink or play ping pong. I did not expect it from the name, but they actually know how to Make Tea!! The actually use loose leaf and properly brew. Their coffee selection is also top notch, they use natural ingredients, allowing you to actually taste what you are drinking rather than the coffee syrup bombs that you find at coffee shop chains. Haven't had a chance to try their beer and wine selection.
I absolute enjoy this place and I only wish they were open during the weekday so i could work from here!
Had a really great time here with a group of friends.
Played ping pong for over 2hours. All the ping pong equipment was well maintained.
The staff was very friendly and checked on us.
There were a variety of people studying, hanging out and having fun.
Cool place. Laid back. Offer coffee and beer. Ping pong is $10/paddle.
I've managed dozens of events and Meetups in Indy, and this is a hidden gem for small or large groups with A/V available. Solid selection of local/ regional beer and wine. Excellent coffee; attention to detail with espresso drinks on par with other top coffee shops in Indy. And, of course, the ping pong is a blast with ample room. Sweet decor. All around awesome social club experience.
It's exactly what they advertise it to be. The rates you pay are per paddle, not person, which is nice. The food was good but the menu is pretty limited to coffee, beer and snacks. Do not go expecting full entrees. We went as a family of 6 at 5pm on a Saturday and was able to use 2 out of the 6 or 7 ping pong tables they had for most of our 3.5 hour visit. It was a lot of fun. Laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff. Overall a good experience.
Nifty little place, lots of space with variety to wide open to separate personal quiet rooms. Nice little variety on coffee menu that you probably won't find much anywhere else. Not a bad deal on ping pong!
Really cute place. It was my first time there. They have a variety of coffee, tea, beer, wine, pop, etc options. Food is just snack items but also available. Half of the location is the ping pong tables and the other half tables. Employees were nice. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was not very busy so seating was available. If you are looking for it right on Ohio, it is off the street. Suite A is right on Ohio and its entrance is around back. There is meter parking on Ohio and a small parking lot around back next to the entrance to Smash.
The staff were unbelievably nice and helpful. I even asked a really dumb question and they were just super nice and friendly. I was left waiting for maybe 30 seconds and the bartender profusely apologized.
I went at about 10pm on a Saturday and didn't have to wait for a table at all. It was a lot of fun. The place was really clean. They had these little quiet rooms where you could go if you had a phone call or just felt overstimulated, which I thought was unique. A staff member brought around free cupcakes at one point. I had a great time and felt very welcome there.
Such a cool place! Snacky food is on the menu but nothing to be mistaken for a meal. Beer selection is small, but mighty. Ping pong tables are sweet! Great place to hang out!
