There were 5 of us. Everything we ordered was HOT and DELICIOUS. Great server. Margaritas were tasty. We enjoyed the background music and the magician too. We frequent this restaurant a lot because we live in the Fletcher Place neighborhood. If you like Mexican food, try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: the food was very tasty. I tried chicken as fajita and as quesadillas. Rice, beans, sour cream, all good. The waitress was kind and objective. The sangria was amazing. Churros were great. Cons: although there are many options, they were very similar to each other. Just changing how you wrap them.

The food is delicious. I tried the delightful street tacos; Jalisco fajitas are also a delicious dish of meat and chicken with their respective tortillas, rice, and beans. Everything is vibrant. The attention is very excellent!! I recommend it, and I will return soon.

This is a busy location in the heart of Fountain Square. We were seated immediately despite it being a Saturday afternoon. The service was great, the food came out quickly and was fresh and tasty, and the prices were reasonable and comparable to other similar restaurants in the area. The flan was also delicious.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I go here quite often but had doordashed some late night tacos for dinner tonight from having a busy & VERY stressful day. some mishaps had happened where I couldn’t get any sauces from the doordash app(no fault of the restaurant I know how door dash is) as a side and one VERY very kind man offered to come drive it to me personally from the restaurant!!! (I live 4-5 minutes away from the restaurant thankfully) it was definitely not expected and so so kind of him! it made my entire night! wish I had cash on hand to give him a tip but I’ll definitely be going to the restaurant soon & giving him a generous tip!!! kindness is so hard to find in this world! this place & the people running it are awesome!!

Grabbed food here before seeing a show at Hi Fi down the street. I had the fajita quesadilla with chicken. The food was delicious as was the free salsa.

Great food, highly recommend the torta milanesa and chori queso. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Also drinks here are absolutely affordable. 27oz marg for 12 bucks and better a 60oz pitcher that always hits when out with friends. Don’t sleep on this place, definitely one of the best in the heart of fountain square.

Never had a bad meal here! I usually get the cheese enchilada or vegetarian fajitas, along with chips and queso, and it's consistently good. I've ordered to-go as well with no issues. Although the left time we were there, we asked for a drink to go and found a random pea floating in it...

I’m giving 5 stars because the food is good and the prices are great. For two entrees, chips & salsa, and a pitcher of maragaritas (roughly three drinks each for two people), as well as a 20$ tip, my wife and I paid 70 total, or 35 a person. The parking situation sucks, especially on a Friday or weekend. I wouldn’t try to park in the family dollar parking lot.

We have our “go to” Mexican restaurant but this time we decided to try a new place for something new and we had a coupon 😉 El Arado is located in beautiful Fountain Square a perfect location right on the corner so if your lucky enough to get a window seat like we did you have a great people watching spot. We ordered the chorizo queso for our appetizer it was very good and we also enjoyed the chips and salsa I like my salsa with a little kick and it was perfect!! I ordered the donkey burrito with shrimp and queso make sure your hungry this thing is gigantic!! I’m pretty sure it was “12” inches long and stuffed with everything you could want in a burrito it was AMAZING!! My wife ordered the chicken fajitas and she enjoyed her meal very much. We had the churros for desert served with cherry and chocolate sauce ice cream whipped cream sprinkles and a 🍒 it was so yummy. I could not give this place five stars because our service was very slow our waiter started off by not giving us straws for our drinks (again the salsa is pretty spicy) I think the staff was eating dinner or watching something on tv because they were all gathered at one table our guy was over there too so he was not as attentive as we would have liked during our meal. If your a patient soul and want some good Mexican/TexMex food this is your place.

The server was prompt and friendly, the food was hot and wonderful, and the location is perfect. The colors and paintings in the restaurant are bright and authentic, and it creates a wonderful vibe! Love this restaurant!

Great Mexican restaurant! When first eating here a year or so ago, I had dish with strips of grilled steak. I recall the steak being rather dry and tough. On a more recent visit, the Pollo Ranchero platter was chosen. The chicken was tender and full of flavor. Served with refried beans and rice, everything with the dish was delicious. While not the fanciest place that Fountain Square has to offer, El Arado has great staff, style and eats!
