Had to try a famous pie shake, We chose the Chocolate bourbon pecan pie shake and it was delicious. Definitely one of the more expensive shakes I've ever had. But delicious non the less.

Very sorry to see this Hamburg Inn Site close. Restaurants on the East side of Iowa City are sparse. The staff was always friendly and the small dining room created a community gathering spot feel

Simple sweet restaurant with amazing fresh food! I was delighted by my omelette and french toast. Hubby devoured his Mexican inspired Omelette. Our waiter was great and it was a whole new experience hearing them be polite to each other in the back! So glad we found this place!!!

I don't want to tell everyone this, but this location is my favorite restaurant in Iowa City. It seriously is delicious. The service is impeccable and if it is slow, ask the chef to make you something off the cuff. High recommend! Easy, fast, fresh, and gluten free friendly. Plus, everyone gets what they want.

Cozy place made for single dining or parties of 2-4 people. Parties of 5 probably not a good idea. Great service; courteous and prompt. Breakfast of ham and eggs w/ hash browns was excellent. Large portions.

This review is for the east side location. This was my first visit. After the previous businesses at that place, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see how much space there was and how cosy the place seemed at the same time. The staff was friendly and chatty enough, but not too chatty. We ordered take out and the food was good. The Cuban sandwich was yummy but somehow different in a good way. I should look at the description more carefully next time. Now that we've stepped in once, we are likely to go again.
