We love this place! The staff is very friendly and efficient! The food is delicious and portions are more than generous! If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault!!
Went to Mike's because of the 4.5 out of 5 star review on Google. Waitress was by far the best I've ever encountered and the food couldn't have been better.
This place has amazing food. I have been going there for years. Large portions and excellent food.
Relatively small menu, big flavor. Add that to an über friendly staff and you have a helluva place to eat. If I come back through this way again, I won't hesitate to stop here.

Always friendly waitresses and the food is fantastic. My husband and I always make a point of stopping there for breakfast or lunch when we're in town.

We are visiting Michigan from Maryland and we were driving around to find a place for breakfast. We passed this place and turned around, glad we did, very good food and great people.
Mike's looks like a typical diner, but the food changes typical to outstanding. We were there for lunch. We both got the Turkey Bacon Club.
Hubby got fries and I got a cup of Sausage Potato Soup. The soup was so delicious! Chunks of potatoes, ham, and the sausage was broken up fine, but also infused into the broth.
So GOOD!!
The sandwiches were just wonderful. Large slices of homemade bread, nice and light with crispy edges. Inside was more of the fresh baked ham, turkey, crisp smokey bacon, American cheese and mozzarella cheese. One condiment is mayonnaise.
Heading home from a trip when we found this gem.

The salad they serve before entre is a meal in itself. Very impressive if you're a salad person like me. Their food is good! Breakfast ends like at 11:00 and busy, as very few restaurants in Ironwood serve breakfast. I was given a complementary piece of cake made by the owner who is a Baker. Waitress has been there a long time and is very friendly & competent. I'd definitely go back just to try one of their wraps@

Great food. Husband and I had fish fry with French fries. Very good portions. Salad was a little small. Cheddar broccoli soup was good. Staff was very friendly and made sure we were enjoying our food. Would go back once in area.
I like this place. The food is first rate. The price is a little bit high but not bad. The restaurant is a little small but that's a good thing. The only thing is there was only one server on staff. I see that a lot these days. No fault of the server. I would and will be going back to this place. But you better get there before 2:00pm because there closed. That's a theme going on all over because there's no one working. So all I have to say is tip your server very well because there the only one there. I recommend this place.
Very nice staff. Our waitress was very prompt and never complained about us asking for extra coffe...or bacon. Was reasonable in cost. Bacon was cooked perfect!
So glad we gave Mike's a try. Large portions of homemade goodness at reasonable prices. We both had the ground beef platter smothered in onions and a side of spaghetti. I know where we will eat when we pass thru Ironwood. Thank you!
