I can't say much about this place. I walked in very curious. I walked around and checked prices and quality of food. They have great produce and meats. Many choices of food eateries. It smells amazing. The deli has so many meats and olives. Next time, I will be equipped with knowledge of what type of food I'd like to try. There are plenty of Mediterranean dishes. Yumm

This place is amazing for Persian people. It provides all the authentic material for the Persian style cooking. Fresh bread including Sangak and barbari,
Fresh cookies and cakes,
Food buffet is very good as well.
I was amazed by variety of its persian foods. They even had lamb neck. It was scrumptious!
Great place to shop for Persian, Arabic & middle eastern foods. They have great selection of produce & meats departments.
They also have a fantastic Indian, Chinese, Thai, middle eastern food with very high quality !
And their bakery is definitely better than most bakeries & pastries shops around here (;
Popular Mediterranean grocery store. Great deals on produce. Great deal on huge bag of spinach, cilantro, walnuts, etc. Great variety selection in food court but the grocery can get over packed with people. Aisles are narrow and the place can get over packed with people although that's great for business.
This is our another favorite shopping place. We often shop there. We love to shop there because there are varieties of selection of household items. Their breads are super fresh. You can find various types of vegetables and fruits there. The name matches with the service they provide.

Even though, this store has a lot of different products from various cuisines, it is not the best option. Some products seem old as if they were there for a very long time (dusty). Right at the entrance, we also saw some rotten fruits. Overall, the fruit/vegetable department is nice, though, because there are a lot of choices and exotics. The store is also not very clean, and isn’t super organized, but because it has so many different options, from hot meals to fresh vegetables, it is a nice place to go to buy everything you need.
Food Court. I was craving lamb and pretty much every food stall in their food court offered lamb on their menu. I got the braised leg of lamb (halal) from the Turkish stall, the guy gave me a generous portion of braised lamb, salad and rice.
The food was great, doesn't taste gamy at all. The lamb was braised perfectly with a light hint of mild spices and mint! He also offered me to taste some of his lamb shawarma, it was ok, not really a fan of shawarma! Mind you, he actually has the shawarma visible (beef, chicken and lamb) and not from a mysterious oven in the back!
Overall the whole experience was great, nothing has changed since my first visit over two decades ago. The Persian food stall is still there, with their great tasting rotisserie chicken!
I think the only thing that was missing was the indoor dinning area, all the tables are in the patio area outside!
Lots of food choices. A very fresh bread can be enjoyed with 4-5 people. I also got yellow plums and red skin peanuts, which hardly find in other grocery stores.
It's a good supermarket in the neighborhood, they have good verity of fruit and vegetables, always fresh, they also have big food court where you can find different types of food, Persian, Indian, Greek, Thai, Chinese and more, very nice Bakery and reasonable prices compare to ASAL SWEETS, also in Irvine. I mostly buy Persian food from there, their Koobeday Kabobs are really good, they also have a big meat department where you can buy Halal and non Halal meat.
