Reviews Tasty Garden

This place never disappoints! A reasonably priced neighborhood restaurant, Tasty Garden doesn't play with the quality of its food. What you see is what you get, so I suggest trying out everything! The food comes out quickly (even when it's busy) and it's always delicious, from their fried rice to their seafood to their orange chicken. Soft drinks come out in cans, so don't expect a refill. I've been here a half-dozen times and have always left with tasty leftovers. This place is highly recommended.

We eat here often, the service is okay, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. Located in the Culver Plaza in Irvine it is a very convenient location but that also means it will be very busy so wait times can be long for lunch and dinner. My wife is from Hong Kong and she says the food is good and i don't argue with her about it because i am too busy eating. Our favorite dishes are the beef udon with XO sauce, beef tendon cury and that HK Style spaghetti they have.

Food was excellent. Reminded me of being back in Hong Kong and Kawloon....but I was only white person in there? Lol

Clean and bright atmosphere. Great service and good food. Need to have more round tables and lazy Susie, cos long tables difficult to share and pass around for Chinese dishes.

Tasty Chinese food. Both the broccoli and fish and stir-fried beef noodles were delicious and fresh. Portions generous for the $15~ average dish price. To-go was well packaged, ready in the 15-20 minutes estimated. I've dined in before - service and room was fine.

The black bean beef chow fun and the braised eggplant with minced pork were both really good. Big portions.

Standard Chinese restaurant. Nothing super outstanding but is a large place with an extensive menu so it is a good option for large groups.

Wow this place is so good🤤. The menu is huge. It’s basically a book 📚with photos and everything. It’s great. Very through. Haha so many choices. Love it. And there’s cheaper prices for lunch. That’s amazing. The honey🍯 and walnut shrimp 🍤 is honestly to die for. Holy moly. Wow. I just can’t even. Everything we ordered was just fantastic. The French coffee ☕️was great. Everything was great. Wow. I honestly love this place. ❤️

Certainly the least oily beef chow fun, and possibly the best one too that I've ever had. Value is superb, with portions equalling about average but prices being quite low. The coffee milk tea is endlessly refillable (!) and is still pretty good. Everything tasted great, and coupled with the low prices and large portions, I'm pretty excited to have a great Chinese place to eat while I go to UCI.

They have a huge menu of traditional and westernized Chinese Dishes. We selected the Beef Chow Fun, fried noodles with beef and vegetables. It was tasty, but a little bit too oily. The Stirred Fried Pea Shoot was an ideal counterpart. We also had the big Honk Kong Waffle with Ice Cream and Fruits. I think it was just OK. Somehow the combination of everything was not as delicious as it sounds. I ate better type of waffles before. We actually wanted to get the Honey Toast with Green Tea Ice Cream, but they were out of Green Tea Ice Cream. I will probably be coming back for that. Be aware that if you order one of the Honey Toasts it will take about 30min. to prepare so you should order well before.

We are very satisfied eating here, this time ordered several dishes, all of them were delicious. Don't forget to order "fresh fruit tea"

Placed orders at the restaurant for two items. Udon beef stir fried and a peanut butter French toast. I was told will take 15-20 mins. Half hour later, food was not ready. The udon tasted great, but the other order gotten wrong. Got a peanut butter pancake instead. Didn't like that one.

I thought this gonna be same taste like common Chinese food in Irvine area. . . This taste better, I order food through phone, and when I come about 10 minutes to this place, they just about ready. No need to wait that long for 3 orders to go. I order No.1 House special chicken (taste like boiled with ginger), beef chow fun with beef, and black pepper filet mignon with mushroom. We enjoy these foods.

Long overdue review to a wonderful great place that provides awesome customer service and yummy delicious plates!!! Ken, the Manager, serves the clients with a lovely smile 😃, listens to your specific requests and has his team serve in the same manner. Ken always will give you VIP treatment, even if the restaurant is busy. Also, CJ is very sweet & Susana very kind and both provide an awesome service. Lastly, they serve the food promptly. Give them a try, you won't regret the wonderful customer service and delicious food. They have plenty of outdoor seating and inside, too.
