Amazing food... Amazing service... Amazing by far there are no words to describe how amazing this restaurant is. If you go ask to sit in Chris's section amazing server. Try everything on the menu you will die. (In the good sense of the word) chicken most. Pork amazing. And flank steak out of this world.

We went for Mother's Day Brunch. Omg! It was so good. Not your typical brunch with crab legs, carne asada, fire grilled chicken, ceviche, etc. The staff was very attentive. We didn't have to ask for anything. We will definitely be back. 🍽

Just had Valentines Day dinner. It was beyond delicious! I had been trying to come for the last few months and am so glad I finally got here. Love the interior and our servers were very attentive. We had the meatballs- the sauce is crazy good, hamachi salad-crisp fresh tangy and the fish melted in your mouth. We also had the noodles as a side which were very light and not filling, the yellowtail with a sauce that compliments the fish perfectly, the prawns with the spun sugar- oh my goodness. Perfect dinner, we'll be back. Thank You!

We went to Twenty Eight for lunch because I was craving some chinese food but didn’t want to go too far… Twenty Eight is located in a business centric area of town. From the outside, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so dark but thankfully it was not. Inside, we were taken into the dining room and my first thought was how pretty the it was. The atrium is beautiful with a lush couch, open space and lighting, and the dining room inside had comfortable couches and minimalistic design.

I'm an "Asian-fusion" hater because flavors are typically muted but every dish I had was incredibly tasty with the perfect texture and combo of flavors.

Twice cooked pork buns: steamed then fried buns filled with red braised pork belly and condensed milk for dipping. Best of sweet, savory and fatty!!

Wok tossed flat noodles: hand rolled and hand cut wide noodles, zucchini, garlic chives, chili and crispy greens. Spectacularly modernized Asian food!

We loved it. Such a refreshing change from a hunk of beef. Great service and beautiful atmosphere. I suggest they add some rice to their walnut shrimp dish as it needs a little more substance. But still great.

The restaurant's design also possessed a feminine touch which is all too appropriate considering the chef. What a lovely build-out. Chef Shirley herself pointed out that it had been guided by the principles of feng shui as well. To keep ourselves in the calm mood, we started on two of their craft cocktails - the Re-Birth ($14 - Hendricks gin, burnt lemongrass ginger syrup, citrus, soda, and kaffir lime leaf - Top Chef Duel winning cocktail) and Vintage TWENTY EIGHT ($24 - Remy 1738, gu

My coworker selected this restaurant for a post-work dinner and I was a little nervous as I’m not much of a steak person. I shouldn’t have worried though because the Linguine is one of the best things I have ever tasted. For me it was one of those dishes where every bite leaves you thinking “This is so damn good!” Finished dinner with the Bourbon Apple Crisp and that is not to be slept on either. I would gladly visit again if I ever found myself back in the area.

This place is amazing! Cocktails are fantastic, food is delicious 🤌, ambiance/ scenery is elegant, staff goes above and beyond!!!! Highly recommend 😁 I had the sausage croquettes & the roasted mushroom & endives 🤌 Park in the Google parking garage and take the ticket to the hostess for validation.

I can't begin to describe this place, but here's a start: ambiance was intimately sophisticated; food was packed with savory flavors but not overwhelming; lastly, customers service was great although it was a lil shacks at the beginning the host made up for the deficit. That's important.

Located at the Google Center, it is very nicely set up to cater to expensive gatherings around the Irvine area. I had the Chilean Sea Bass (market price) with chef special sauce (coconut milk, fried dried shallots and chili oil). The fish is de-boned, with the tail and head put in for show. The skin is fried and put back on the fillet. It's quite tasty. Many people had the seafood linguine. An 8oz filet mignon was $52. They also had wagyu steak. A 16oz wagyu ribeye is priced at $120.

Came here for dinner after our wedding. Price fixed so it was more expensive per person. Staff was friendly and great. Food was excellent. Parking is in the parking garage but they will validate the parking ticket.

Came here for my birthday with my wife and wanted to try a restaurant that fit both of our appetites (I like seafood and she’s more into steaks). Found this hidden gem and was greeted by the hostess who was friendly and attentive. Sat us down and our waitress Lisa came and helped us choose what we were craving. Very knowledgeable with drinks, entrees, and even went out of her way and got me a little tart for my birthday. Lisa made this night very memorable to say the least. Thank you for a great experience Twenty Eight and Lisa!

My second time at TwentyEight but this time it was for a holiday party. The service was amazing! We were very fortunate to have Hailey and Kevin help us. They are both so helpful and friendly! The catering manager Stacie is fantastic and I highly recommend TwentyEight for special events!

This place is a hidden gem! Considering that you’d probably only find it if you’re actually searching for a restaurant on Yelp because the sign for the restaurant is very small. Located in the same plaza as the Google building, it can be somewhat a challenge to find the first time. There are easy signs to follow once you arrive that point to the restaurant parking in the structure. From there just walk and cross the road to the big buildings. Keep going straight and you’ll see the cute little restaurant. My girlfriend and I went on Halloween night to find the restaurant close to empty, but that was perfect for us to have a nice, private dinner in the available outdoor seating. The restaurant was dimly lit inside, and outside too. Perfect for a date night. We ordered the following: American Wagyu Hanger, Angus Filet Mignon, Caesar Salad, Central Park, Truffled Parmesan Fries, Herbed Baby Potato, Garlic Fried Rice, and the Black Sesame Bread Pudding. How was the food? - American Wagyu Hanger: This was my steak order, I got it medium rare. The meat was tender, juicy, and tasty. A darn good cut of meat. I had gotten it with garlic butter, which was very subtle. - Angus Filet Mignon: This was my girlfriend’s steak. She got it medium rare as well. It was also juicy and tasted good. (not pictured) - Caesar Salad: Delicious. A pile of crunchy lettuce and some anchovies covered in cheese. The dressing hits the spot. - Central Park: I love whisky and this cocktail was smooth, despite it being smoked. It wasn’t overwhelming. - Truffled Parmesan Fries: These were heaven sent. I loved them. Thinly cut, crispy, and covered in parmesan cheese. What more could I ask for? - Herbed Baby Potato: These were pretty good. Salty and crispy. Not as starchy as you think they’d be. - Garlic Fried Rice: So good. This pairs well with steak. The garlic is not overwhelming. - Black Sesame Bread Pudding: A dessert that’s hard to not finish. It’s good, and you’ll want to eat it all. Service was good. The dishes came out intermittenly, which we liked. Our waters were refilled without question. Parking is validated so don’t forget to ask. They have a very large selection of whisky for those connoisseurs out there :). Go find and try this place!

Amazing food and selection. Service was perfect. The space itself was surprisingly low key and basic. String lights above were not the best vibe, poorly hung. But the food was so good it didn’t matter. Get the pork shoulder. It’s the star of the show.
