Update: they seemed to have made some changes here due to all the negative reviews. They give normal amount now it seems. I won’t hold a grudge. Review changed to 5 stars from 1.
I heard plenty of people asking for a lil more and saw them kindly approving requests.
I always love chipotle but this in particular location always gives the smallest amount of food. Maybe because it’s right next to UCI but the bowls are small and scoops are very light. I went two different occasions just to make sure and it’s ridiculous the amount of food they give.
I recommend finding another location to go to or eat something else in this plaza. Very disappointed ☹️.. if you mention the scoop was small they want to charge extra for more. Not very good customer service either.
Although I did get a nice bit of cheese on top. That was the only good thing here.

We had a bowl and three tacos at outside seats, because it was good weather.
Great outdoor dining opportunity, which was perfect since my daughter had her dog with her. We ordered Carnitas bowl, veggie bowl, and chicken bowl. The food is predictively delicious. Love the guacamole!
Chipotle is a classic now for me. Used to get it very often in college.
These days I feel portions are getting smaller. So deducting a star for that.
Well, decent amount of portion, much more than that one next to UCI. Overall, ideal place for lunch if you are hungry.
Quick and convenient lunch for busy days on campus. Decent food, great outdoor seating. Good vegan options. My friends tell me that they can be stingy here but we are college students :P
one of my preferred fast-casual eateries. The adaptable options, natural ingredients, and potent flavors are my favorites. It doesn't matter if it's a salad, bowl, or burrito, the quality and flavor are always satisfying. It is a dependable option for a speedy and delectable meal due to the effective service and tidy environment.
got a chipotle bowl of chicken, guac, mild, sour cream, cheese, white rice, and corn! delicious and I was much too full to finish the bowl. had to take it home and wrap it with plastic wrap because I couldn't finish it but will finish it tomorrow or later tonight 👍 tons of chicken 😋 they say they close at 10 but around 10pm they didn't kick us out, just started cleaning a little bit. we left on our own accord but we appreciate that they were being understanding for those who just need a little more time to wrap up their meal 😁
Pretty good store. It gets crowded very easily (especially during the evenings) which makes it difficult for people with wheelchairs to access the store in a comfortable manner.
Food is very good. Each time I order (always online through the Chipotle app) I get very large servings; I usually have to spread out one entree over two meals or so.
Sometimes they mess up orders, or people take pickup bags that aren't theirs, but the staff is very good at helping out. They remake your order if someone has stolen yours or if you received the wrong order. The workers seem to be very busy so I understand if they mess things up sometimes. The last time I went, there was only one person on the pickup conveyor fulfilling online orders.
Overall a pretty good store.
I visited many chipotle around US. No chipotle knows how to make good Guac (I know it is not rocket science but most of the chipotle miss out the right amount of lime,cilantro and salt) than this chipotle. Friendly staff, good vibes as UCI is nearby.
I love Chipotle and their spin on Mexican food and the taste and quality is definitely living up to the name at this location. The lines are very long here, but it is only because it is located right next to a college campus. I recommend coming at an awkward time if you plan to come to this location. The only problem that I have is that this Chipotle in particular does not offer the student discount like all the others for a free small drink when you show your student ID. Many other restaurants in this location do such and so do the other Chipotles but for some reason they don't. Overall a good part of the amazing establishment, but I mean please just be uniform with the discounts.
I ordered a burrito with extra beans. Them beans are packed with fiber, i will attest to that. I clogged my toilet due to that burrito. I will definitely be ordering again
